I pause the goddamn Jeremy Lin video, but that doesn’t help—probably because Jeremy Lin isn’t Randy Moss. So I pause the NASCAR clip, check for pop-unders, close all my other tabs, and still can’t find the source of this fucking audio. By now, it should be clear that I’m an idiot.
Finally, I manage to kill the audio by closing the Big Lead tab.

I understand the need for advertising, but sometimes this blog feels like an attack site with all this cheap, desperate shit going on. Tell the people at USA Today to clean it up. Or maybe it’s just part of their signature aesthetic.

If you’re in a caution would you ever not take tires? You lose the same position anyway versus the rest of the cars…. Is it just if other people are putting to beat them out of the pits?

Depends on when the last caution was, how many other drivers have fresh rubber, how big a team you are (smaller teams will take bigger risks to try to get sponsorship in case of a good finish). If your on tired rubber, then the teams that pit will pass you like a train. The real question is: right side tires or 4 tires.

If you just need a lil bit of fuel you might just take that, or just take 2 tires versus 4. The less you take the faster you get back out there, and the better position you are in.
