Cal Poly Pomona’s Three Quarter Court Buzzer-Beater Caps One of the Most Insane College Basketball Finishes Ever
Friday’s game between Cal Poly Pomona Broncos and Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros had one of the most exciting finishes in college basketball this season. Maybe of all-time. Dominguez Hills had a 55-54 lead over Pomona with just 17 seconds left in double overtime. With about 8.7 seconds left, DeRonn Scott hit a three from the corner to put Pomona up 57-55. Robert Willhite then hits a tough three to put Dominguez Hills back on top 58-57, with .6 seconds left on the clock. That would have been enough, but Mitchel Anderson nailed a three-quarter court shot at the buzzer. Wow.

that looked to take far longer than six tenths of a second.
My favorite part of that insane college basketball finish was waiting 90 seconds for the timeout to get finished. I could just taste the excitement.
