Everything about that was awful. From the forgoing of the Warrior/Hogan rematch at WM VII, to them moving it from The Coliseum to the LA Sports Arena. Sure, it resulted in Warrior vs. Savage and Warrior pinning him after about 17 consecutive shoulder tackles, but Hogan vs. Slaughter is one of the worst WM main events ever. Worse than Undertaker vs. Diesel. If that counts as the main event.

The crazy thing about Sgt. Slaughter, is that he went pro-Iraq during Desert Storm. That was his angle!! He was an Iraqi sympathizer and had to wear a bullet proff vest to the ring.

you can’t get a better storyline than this. I’ve read less complicated foriegn policy stuff in Tom Clancy novels.
