Vancouver Canucks End Detroit Red Wings Home Win Streak In a Shootout
The Detroit Red Wings lost to the Vancouver Canucks at home tonight in a shootout. Alexandre Burrows scored the goal that ended the longest home winning streak in NHL history. It was Detroit’s first home loss since November 3, 2011. The shootout victory brings the Canucks within one point of the Wings for the top spot in the Western Conference. Canucks were clearly the better team. Wings suck without Datsyuk and Franzen is the worst.
