on the contrary…my mother-in-law bought us the pack-and-play and she convinced herself that her granddaughter NEEDED the cuddle cove. so we have it.

it sits in the corner of the spare bedroom…out of the way of daily life.

pack-n-play pro tip: most hotels have them if you ask… but may try to charge you extra for it. they also are very bad at cleaning them between uses. it is essential that you have your own sheets or get some from housekeeping, cuz I’ve encountered some straight nasty p-n-p’s on family trips.

how clutch is the Pack-and-Play?

Its pretty sweet. Great for traveling, sets up anywhere and folds up quick. The nursery is also the spare bedroom, so when people visit it sets up in our room. Can see putting it in the dining room/kitchen area full time once he starts to crawl, just plop him in the little prison as needed.
