No. no. I went to the T.Tech game on Saturday and that is my price limit. Lousy game, but my kid got his hat signed by the entire (minus Withey, he didn’t come out of the locker room) team. It was pretty cool for the kids. I’ll be watching the KU/Slaver game in my basement. I need to contain my hate in a private dwelling’s basement.

If Mizzou is going to go final 4 legit they need to do it this year. I have fully bought Mizzou as (probably) the team in the country with the most raw talent. However I won’t buy into Haith at all until he does it again for the next 2 years. KC did you score tickets to KU-Mizz?

Jason – As far as talent… sure. Gottlieb has been right all year (he is on weekly on WHB 810 as I drive into work,) they are a team of match-ups. They couldn’t touch KSU this year. KSU is a really good mid-major team as far as talent. They had the match-up advantage over Mizzou. As always, it is what team runs into to the other team on short notice in the 32 or 8 match-up. You need a college hoops guy like football Lisk to tease out those results. Hell, Lisk could probably figure that out for the tourney. Favored teams playing the second game of a weekend in the tourney vs an inferior opponent.

But, yeah, Mizzou has the talent. It’ll be interesting to see how they respond to this loss and whatever happens after Saturday. They may be really fucking hungry to win the Big 12 tourney. They want a parting shot.

Anybody see the Yahoo Sports front page article about Pacquiao?The article reads different than the title suggests....."Manny Pacquiao turns down Mayweather", yet the headline makes it look like Manny backed out. Mayweather basically wanted to give Manny $40 million and then he'd take the Pay Per View cut. Yeah, the PPV cut is supposed to be like $160 million. Great deal Pretty Boy Floyd.
