Saturday Night Live was wonderful last night. The show kicked off with a Jeremy Linspired cold open that dealt with the media’s racial struggles with Linsanity.

Later in the show we got the triumphant return of What Up With That which featured Bill O’Reilly and Kate Upton. My love of What Up With That is no secret and this version was as wonderful as usual. Kate even got a line late in the sketch – one more than Lindsey Buckingham.

This is the Cosby – Obama Show. SNL is always heavy on politics, so it’s nice to see them do something more creative than a presidential address. Obama as Bill Cosby? Doesn’t even seem fair.

Then there was the Jay-Z and Beyonce sketch that featured Justin Timberlake as Bon Iver. Oh, Bonnie Bear. I’m still not even sure why I’ve heard of you. I know Timberlake ended the show holding a sign that said he loves Bon Iver, but you have to figure he was just being nice because that’s what Justin Timberlake does.
