Yes it is. The fallout from the near death penalty is coming to an end. There’s still a shitload of talent in the area. Beilein has his system in place. They have a monster class coming in next season, and Michigan now has an AD that actually gives a shit about basketball.

That’s all fine and dandy, no doubt Michigan is experiencing an uptick, but not evidence that will be sustained (it’s still a mid-major type coach with a gimmick. We’ll see how that flies with the new recruits that want to get into the NBA. Either way, the question is which job is better and Illinois has had better recruiting classes 8 of the last 9 years.
