My job might transfer me to Denver, per my request. I’ve never been to Colorado but I’ve heard great things and have a good number of friends who reside in the Denver area.

I’m very happy here. I think what you get in Denver for your cost of living dollar is very high.

Seriously?? Right after high school one buddy was going to Cal and decided to go see him and party over there. Somehow we got lost trying to take a short cut and his car broke down in Danville. There were 4 of us and we had to push the car 1/4 mile to the next exit and off the freeway into a Chevron station. So we’re just stuck there until the tow truck can come and just hanging out by the car. After about 5 minutes, two cop cars roll up on us and ask us what we’re doing there and get all our id’s and we have no idea why or what’s going on. Apparently the dude in the little market got scared because he’d been robbed twice in the past week and thought we were going to do the same shit. Pay no attention to the fact that we PUSHED the car into your station idiot…

Our cops have very little to do.

/except search for the perps on those two prior robberies, I guess.

Yeah, I didn’t even bother bringing my gear home to the bay with me for winter break. Watching the Sharks on a non-grainy/non-illegal internet stream was exciting as it got for me.
