Rangers Pitcher Derek Holland Did a Spirited Weather Forecast
Here’s Rangers starter Derek Holland doing the weather forecast for a local television station in Dallas, complete with Will Ferrell’s version of Harry Caray. He eventually becomes one with the green screen at the 3:12 mark. Holland’s appearance, while amusing — especially for a pitcher most fans have probably never heard speak before — makes it abundantly clear that it’s well past time for pitchers and catchers to report to Spring Training. These dudes are itching for something to do.
