Ohio State Survived a Scare From Purdue, But Jared Sullinger Still Got Dunked On
All, College Basketball, Video February 7th. 2012, 11:21pm
Here’s 6’9″ Jared Sullinger trying to take a charge against Purdue guard Kelsey Barlow in the first half tonight. That was a mistake. Barlow goes up and over Sully and gives him a light dusting of teabag for his troubles.
The game was close throughout the second half and tied with just under 5 minutes to go, but in the end Ohio State held on to win 87-84. Senior William Bufford had a career high 29 points. [The Score]

That was a silly dunk by Barlow. Just awesome. Look at the look on the Purdue guys faces. They didn’t expect it either.
Purdue played a perfect game tonight. 3 turnovers. Shot 55% and 60% from 3. Stiff DJ Byrd channeled Brandon Paul channeling Michael Jordan with a career high 25 (by 10 points). But, OSU still prevailed.
That’s a good teaching moment for OSU, who got frustrated mid-game when Purdue couldn’t miss. But, they gutted one out.

This turned into a brutal game to watch because for a while in the second half there was a touch foul called on every trip by both teams.

Kelsey is a beast. Sullinger is a chubby bitch.

If Barlow plays like that, they are a tough out. Problem is that he rarely plays like that. And, I don’t know what DJ Byrd took last night, but he actually looked more like a basketball player than a outside linebacker last night.
And, the chubby bitch still won… thankfully.
