Some people have this mentality that going 3-0 in super bowls is better than going 3-2. Like it’s better to not get there than to get there and lose it. I cant stand Tawmy Boy but what he did this year just to get there, with 2 tight ends and a slot receiver was incredible.

This is one of those losses that will eat at Pats fans for a while, lots of chances to win and they didnt take advantage of any of them. Tommy wasnt great (and outside of 2 drives wasnt really even good), but there is plenty of blame to go around.

Giants put the ball on the ground 3 times and you got none (bad, bad 12 men penalty Genius Bill). Offsides kept a big drive going. Welkah would have been a tough catch, but still should have made it.

I’ve been a Pats fan since the late 70s, and this is the single worst piece of “writing” (I’m being generous) that I’ve ever read about the team or one of their games. And there’s not even a close second.

Look, I was pissed about the way the game went, too. But to blame Brady–or any single occurrence–for the loss is beyond idiotic. I know this columnist is angling for “most overstated reaction to the game” and the attention that brings, but I’d rather be an obscure, unknown columnist than be pointed to by the rest of the country as the poster boy for self-entitled douchebags with no perspective.

Didn’t he set a record for consecutive completions during this game? He played a lot better this game than he did during their first Super Bowl win when he threw for five yards a pop and his team scored one offensive TD. He was named MVP after that one. I bet this dude doesn’t believe half of what he’s written here, but he’s going to get a ton of attention for writing it. Sad.
