Tony Wroten Obliterated Arizona State’s Jonathan Gilling With This Dunk
All, College Basketball, Video January 27th. 2012, 9:59am
Jumanji! The Pac 12 still sucks. After the game, Wroten (22 points), said:
“That might have been the best dunk I’ve ever had,” he said. “I wasn’t even expecting that to happen. He just moved over and (I) just dunked on him.”
The Seattle Times has a terrific photo of the poster dunk. [vid via Andy Glockner]

League’s incredible ability to produce NBA studs is likely the reason. Finally caught up.

Ugh. The kid had to know he was going to be late in filling the lane. You might as well as taken Wroten out completely if you were going to be THAT late.

Not only was he not ejected he was rewarded with a free throw! Do we really want to encourage this sort of … ummm… streetballery in the college game?

I’ll sift through your mouthbreathing, but good point: James Harden, OJ Mayo, Aaron Brooks, Brandon Roy, Demarr Derozoan, Derrick Williams, Nick Young, Chase Budinger, among others are stellar former Bruins lighting up the NBA.

Hard to replace a lot of early entrant talent, and it’s caught up to most of the schools.
