Video: Pickup Basketball Brawl
A brawl broke out at a local gym is some American city recently over who had the next in a pickup game. There is just so much wrong in this video. First of all, the cameraman holds his phone up straight up, so instead of widescreen, we get highscreen. Stop doing this, people. Turn your phones to the side when you’re capturing street violence. On top of that, the cameraman seems more concerned with not getting hit rather than keeping a keen eye on the action. All we really know is that a bunch of people were running around a gymnasium pushing each other. Hopefully, in the future, more gyms look into employing a sign-up sheet. Then we can eliminate such needless violence. [vid via Guyism]

My favorite part was when the person I didn’t know got hit by the other person I didn’t know and it was blurry. Oh, and the shouting. I also liked the shouting.

the only thing worse would have been a post where you told me you were going to show this shitty fight video, and then the video in the post was some Aziz Anziri impersonator recapping the action in fake sunglasses, telling us how boring the fight was.

Quite surprised they didn’t settle this like gentlemen. Indeed.

Wait, I thought that guy liked the fight but he was just falling asleep a lot because it went on for 22 straight days or something

WTF is Worldstar? Was that the cameraman’s “safe” word? The camera work was subpar indeed. Felt like I was watching through a hole in the wall.

World Star Hip Hop is a go-to destination for urban brawl videos.
