Forgive the ignorance, never check mock drafts..but is Dyer expected get drafted high? (and pardon the “suspended for pot” pun).

I don’t see him as a 1st or 2nd rounder. He’s really short, has never had to block too much, and yet rarely catches the ball out of the backfield. But he’s durable, plays awfully hard, and hits holes well, especially in the second half.

Bo Jackson reportedly called Dyer to talk some sense into him, and Dyer hung up on him. So I don’t really know what else the team can do. Sounds like Dyer has grade issues at a minimum, as well as other stuff on the side…

But yes, I agree, especially with an improved line, we are going to be fine at RB.

Very little chance he will be granted a hardship, though I suspect Chizik would play along to be nice. It’s in the NCAA’s hands, however.

I live near Auburn, and people have been saying they’ve seen him late 1st, early 2nd in some mock drafts, but then again, those are Auburn fans.

If he can’t get the transfer waiver, would he redshirt?
