According to Austin Karp of Sports Business Journal, the Broncos/Patriots game Sunday afternoon generated a 19.5 rating, which is the best on the network since the unbeaten Colts met the unbeaten Patriots in November 2007. [The Patriots scored two TDs in the final eight minutes to win on the road, 24-20.]

We’ll be exploring the Broncos’ playoff chances later, but the NFL must be salivating at the prospect of Tim Tebow in the playoffs. There’s a chance he could open up at home on Wild Card weekend against the Steelers, Ravens or Jets. There would be considerably less excitement if he played the Bengals or Titans.
