Tim Tebow Lost! Tom Brady Won! Patriots 41, Broncos 23

When Tim Tebow scored the first touchdown of the game, it looked like the Broncos were ready to roll over the team with the second worst defense in the NFL. After trading a few scores, the Patriots trailed Denver 16-7 early in the second quarter. Then – perhaps unsurprisingly –  the Broncos offense stalled while the Patriots scored 27 unanswered points.

All in all, it was a fun day on the Tebow Hype Train. ESPN’s NFL Countdown gave the NFL’s most Tweeted player a large chunk of their time while they devoted mere minutes to the (then) unbeaten Packers. When the Broncos and the Patriots got going,  you could tell that a clearly motivated Tom Brady was out to remind everyone why he got to marry Gisele. Because he’s Tom Brady and Tim Tebow is not.

We’ll resume our regularly scheduled Tebowing on Monday morning. I promise.
