Indeed. I seem to recall there being an issue of Slam magazine in the late 90s that ranked NBA cities and their strip clubs. Houston was a few slots down from Atlanta.

When the Rockets played at Compaq Center in Greenway Plaza and teams stayed in nearby hotels, I hear visiting players used to be a common scene at TMC.

I enjoy the fact that Houston and the surrounding area has never heard of zoning or zoning laws. Playing “Is it a strip club? or a furniture store?” driving from Houston to Galveston is quite a bit of fun…and challenging.

The only jokes I can come up with are too obvious and therefore aren’t that funny. So I’m holding off until I think of something better.
