Xavier – Cincinnati Brawl Video Features Yancy Gates Bloodying Kenny Frease

Today’s Cincinnati – Xavier game got out of hand in the closing seconds. With the game seconds from being over, Cincinnati’s Yancy Gates decked Xavier’s Kenny Frease and all Hell broke loose. Xavier won by 23, not that you care.

Anyone wonder if that’s the end of Yancy Gates college career? So much for moving up into the first-round of the draft.

Why is it that whenever a punch is thrown in a sporting event its called a “brawl” that looked like a sucker punch and then a lot of pushing and shoving.

There was pushing and shoving on both sides of it, and multiple people getting knocked down. It seemed pretty “brawl-y” to me.

God, people talk about Yates being an NBA talent? Sure he has a nice shooting touch, but he was being outhustled by Kenny Frease, who prior to Yates was the slowest person up and down the court I have seen this side of Pig Miller. Plus, he is what? 20 years old? And he is already that out of shape…I would hate for my team to draft Yates.

Cincinnati did the exact same think against Xavier last year. So, not as justifiable.
