He has one of the highest unfavorable Q ratings post-MIA move. That is a basic barometer used in the celebrity endorsements. He has a ton of jack, but to deny brand damage is stupid. It’s quantified. His negative Q score is one of the highest out there, even though it’s slightly improved.

This metric doesn’t mesh with what I see on my tv, whether it be LeBron advertising McDonalds, Nike, Sprite, etc. Maybe we have a different opinion on what is considered brand damage. Lastly, Varejao is one of the best players in the league at defending the PnR. Most teams would kill to have him.

He can pop out and thwart tons of pick and rolls with great recovery, doing this against 4′s and 5′s. He was also even tougher before they ignored some of his flops.
