ESPN hockey analyst Matthew Barnaby was popped for DWI early Monday morning when, according to police:

State Police pulled over the 38 year old ESPN analyst early Monday morning after they say he was driving without a front tire on Dana Marie Parkway in Clarence.

They say he failed several field sobriety tests, refused a breath test and he was charged with DWI.

Driving without a front tire, as in, on the rim? Yikes. I can imagine how that’d probably be a red flag something was amiss. How shitfaced do you have to be to drive a vehicle without a tire?

Barnaby, whose second claim to fame after playing in the NHL was dating ESPN colleague Michelle Beadle, was arrested earlier this year following a domestic dispute and sentenced to 500 hours of community service. Two arrests in one year? No way he’s on ESPN’s payroll much longer.
