Final BCS Standings: LSU Will Meet Alabama in the BCS Title Game
“Today is the annual reminder that I hate that I love college football so much.” – Josh Elliott
Alabama or Oklahoma State? There was no right answer, because the BCS is not a competition. It is a beauty contest. Voters, biased or clueless, team with crackpot computer pollsters to place two teams in an aggrandized bowl game, producing copious profits for everyone involved except the schools and those playing. The BCS is cynical, insidious graft. We readily acknowledge this, yet, still, we flock to it like crack fiends.
We received what the BCS formula gives us, which is an answer, Alabama. Should have campaigned earlier, Gundy. As is true every year there are not two defined teams, the choice is neither conclusive nor satisfying. So it goes.
The paradigm shift is coming. As the great Ice-T once said: don’t hate the player, hate the game. Here are your BCS bowls.
BCS: LSU [SEC] vs. Alabama [AL]
Round Two. Fight! It’s a rematch, but, unlike the Oklahoma State matchup it should be competitive. We’ll also have the AP Title intrigue if it’s a close Alabama win.
Rose: Wisconsin [B1G] vs. Oregon [P12]
The No. 4 and No. 5 offenses on a per play basis. This should be enjoyable. Chip Kelly gets another chance to score a win against a top-caliber opponent from another conference.
Fiesta: Oklahoma State [B12] vs. Stanford [AL]
The No. 3 and No. 7 offenses on a per play basis. This should be enjoyable. Similar to Oregon matchup for Stanford except they will be stretched vertically rather than horizontally, OSU’s defense isn’t as good and Luck’s targets shoudl be healthy.
Sugar: Michigan [AL] vs. Virginia Tech [AL]
A bowl game, whose sole purpose is to sell tickets, hotel rooms and television ads took the two teams most likely to sell tickets, hotel rooms and television ads. Michigan 10-2, decent wins over Nebraska and Notre Dame. Fine. Virginia Tech played one team in the Sagarin Top 44, Clemson and got blown out twice. Best wins? Georgia Tech and Miami. Competitively, the Hokies inclusion is the biggest travesty.
Orange: Clemson [ACC] vs. West Virginia [BEast]
Two teams had to come from those conferences and they most likely had to meet in the Orange Bowl. Considering that, not a bad matchup. Holgorsen vs. Morris. We’re in.

So does this mean the “Game of the Century” was meaningless? If so, what does that say about college football?
December 4th, 2011 at 8:27 PM
Virginia Tech? oh fuck that shit (sorry V4L, forgive me).
December 4th, 2011 at 8:27 PM
So does this mean the “Game of the Century” was meaningless? If so, what does that say about college football?
if this was the first ever rematch for the title, that question might matter. The truth is, you’ll watch it, you’ll bitch, it will end, you’ll bitch, and next season, you’ll watch more games.
The collective you, not you specifically, although I’m sure specific you will bitch plenty. Just like specific me.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:28 PM
BCS got it wrong.
I just love that bama is essentially basing the quality of their whole regular season on a loss.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:28 PM
if Alabama played in any other conference and didn’t win their league, they wouldn’t be here. SEC hype got them here, not their play on the field
December 4th, 2011 at 8:28 PM
Sugar and Orange look to be awful, Rose and NC the best. Fiesta is just ‘meh’.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:29 PM
Nick Saban: “we’re the number two team in the country.”
Question Rece Davis should have asked: Says who?
Saban: “The voters and the computers.”
Don’t you think an NFL-style playoff would make more sense than having voters/computers settle things?
December 4th, 2011 at 8:29 PM
Not what I wanted but I’ll take it, should be a good game. I respect that Bama went on the road to play a non-conf game in front of 110K in Happy Valley.
VT makes no sense, Kansas State or Tuber Tech would have been better.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:31 PM
So, why the snark in the opening?
December 4th, 2011 at 8:31 PM
Neither team in the sugar bowl “deseves” to be in there…what a shit matchup that is.
Rose
Champ
Fiesta
Sugar/orange
December 4th, 2011 at 8:32 PM
looks like the BCS cocksuckers did everything possible to not take a non-AQ conference school.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:32 PM
Mike Gundy, as Duffy noted earlier this week, is NOT a politician.
“We believe in the system. For whatever reason, we came up a little bit short.”
?!?!?!?!?
December 4th, 2011 at 8:33 PM
Actually, I’m more a fan of the pro game. As a causal fan of CFB, I find a OkSU-LSU game more interesting than two teams that just played a few weeks ago.
As for bitching, it’s what we Americans do, especially on the Internet.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:33 PM
Plus one would be perfect this season; maybe if the playoff honks would focus on that instead of 16 team fantasy scenarios a “playoff” would actually happen.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:34 PM
The reason is you lost to Iowa fucking State. And your non-conference schedule was trash.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:35 PM
An NFL style playoff shows that if you have a playoff style tournament, one team will win it. Also, another team will be a runner-up by advancing to the final game before losing.
Beyond that I don’t think it settles much.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:35 PM
damn, you’re a classic case of recent history bias. Last year, everyone said the Auburn-Oregon game wouldn’t be close yet it took a late score by Auburn to win the game. Perhaps the use of perspective would improve your writing
December 4th, 2011 at 8:36 PM
Yup, feel bad for ok st but the regular season matters. Losing to Iowa state killed em
December 4th, 2011 at 8:38 PM
Except for Nov 5th.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:38 PM
aside from Penn State, that Georgia State matchup was a real gem for Alabama. I mean, how courageous of the Tide to play a good I-AA team.
What does it say about Alabama that they gave up the most points in a game all season against GEORGIA FUCKING STATE?
December 4th, 2011 at 8:39 PM
Iowa State is 6-6 and bowl eligible. All the retard meatheads talk like they were a 2 win team. Cheers to the myopic!
December 4th, 2011 at 8:40 PM
Maybe LSU and Bama purposefully played the first game very conservatively knowing that if it was a close game, both teams would ensure themselves of a title game rematch. A larger loss would have eliminated the losing team.
/Conspiracy theory’d
December 4th, 2011 at 8:41 PM
could have stopped after #1. you can’t defend an sec school by saying another team’s non conference school was trash. cause that’s laughable.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:41 PM
What does it say about Alabama that they gave up the most points in a game all season against GEORGIA FUCKING STATE?
Umm….They cant stop the option?
December 4th, 2011 at 8:41 PM
Even Michigan fans don’t agree with the results.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:42 PM
Honey Badger must have a huge game against Bama on special teams because this game will be an offensive debacle.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:43 PM
OSU’s non conf schedule wasnt bad – Arizona, U-La-La, and Tulsa. No top 25 teams in that bunch though.
I’d love to see a BCS bowl take Baylor, probably wont happen though.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:44 PM
if Virginia Tech couldn’t stop Taj Boyd, Sammy Watkins, and Clemson, Michigan is going to blow them the hell out
December 4th, 2011 at 8:45 PM
GEORGIA FUCKING STATE?
GA Southern … big difference btw.
And to your point … how the hell did an FCS school control the line of scrimmage against bama.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:45 PM
Two best teams in college football playing for the chance to be #1. It worked. Again.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:45 PM
of course not. Wouldn’t put enough butts in the seats. That’s all the BCS cares about..$
December 4th, 2011 at 8:47 PM
K-State got jobbed. Two Big Least teams? KSU would have sold more tickets than fucking Va. Tech in New Orleans. Half of this state would have driven down there.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:47 PM
squawk, thanks for the correction, but you get my point.
If Alabama wins, it actually didn’t work. It proves nothing except that the teams are tied.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:48 PM
KC res..big East only got one team.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:50 PM
Two ACC teams, and only one Big XII team. The Sugar Bowl picking two at-large teams from outside the top 10. I’m sure they were thrilled not to have to take Houston though.
First year since 2005 that no non-AQ team in a BCS bowl.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:50 PM
i disagree
just like the patriots/giants
- patriots won in the regular season
- giants won when it counted
same rule applies here.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:52 PM
except you have to earn it in the NFL and can be gifted it in college
December 4th, 2011 at 8:53 PM
I’d have respected it a helluva lot more if they played a good team in the process. Bama has exactly one good win, against an overrated Arkansas team at home.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:53 PM
It really would.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:54 PM
KSU, TCU and BSU got fucked. Ok St. beat 6 ranked teams. Bama beat 2.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:54 PM
That we’re playing Va. Tech instead of a more deserving KSU?
December 4th, 2011 at 8:55 PM
So let’s say Bama beats LSU 7-6. So the combined score of the two games is 15-13 LSU, but Bama is the champ because they won the bowl game. However LSU is the better team by margin of victory, right?
December 4th, 2011 at 8:56 PM
Yeah but should be a 3-team playoff with LSU getting the bye. LSU beat 6 BCS Top 25 teams by an AVERAGE of 22 points.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:58 PM
Can’t wait to here the incompetent BCS Director Bill Hancock try and defend all this nonsense on radio this week. He is almost as dumb as craig james
December 4th, 2011 at 8:58 PM
At least the remaining 4 games matched the best 4 teams against each other. They used to give bowls picks and a snake alignment like a fantasy draft. So we’d have Okie State vs WVU, Stanford against Michigan, Oregon- Va Tech and Wisky vs Clemson.
Oregon-Wisky and Stanford-Okie State are games I’m looking forward to. I saw that the lines were Oregon -5, Okie State -3.5, Va Tech -2.5, Clemson -1.5
December 4th, 2011 at 8:58 PM
true. but what’s done is done and we have to accept the title game we are given.
fuck this ‘plus one’ noise in it’s pie hole. call it a 4-team playoff like it should be called.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:59 PM
LSU deserves all the hoopla because they had the balls to play a tough schedule. That’s more than most SEC teams can say.
December 4th, 2011 at 8:59 PM
Actually, I hope my scenario happens and LSU is still voted #1. Both times the loser would have suffered no consequences.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:00 PM
And Bama lost to the #1 team in the country, Ok St. lost to Iowa State.
/Let’s say the same thing hundreds of times over, it’s fun
December 4th, 2011 at 9:01 PM
Under the Ritty System* (patent pending) – we would have had a 3-team playoff this year with Okie State and Alabama playing for the right to play LSU.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:01 PM
The Sugar and Orange bowls arent great, but they’re not stinkers on the level of Georgia-Hawaii or Cincinnati-VaTech.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:01 PM
The biggest loser in all of this is Arkansas.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:01 PM
oh you work for ESPN TV programming?
December 4th, 2011 at 9:02 PM
Boise State got jobbed the most.
That draft process wouldn’t have changed the Rose Bowl
December 4th, 2011 at 9:02 PM
KC res..big East only got one team. Stark
Thanks. I pulled this post up right as my wife was yelling at me to give the kid a bath.
Corrected rant… Two ACC teams? KSU got fucked.
Seriously, Va Tech brought 46 people to the Orange Bowl to play KU a few years ago. KSU would have sold out the Sugar Bowl on their own. You know, if it is about tickets and hotels and such. Which, I agree with Ty it is.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:03 PM
Nick Fairley is awesome.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:03 PM
And please stop with all the “this is gonna be another 6-6 stinker…” Game will be completely different with all the time off these teams are going to have, not to mention the rematch factor.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:04 PM
Missed it…what did he do?
December 4th, 2011 at 9:05 PM
He’s playing really well. Sack and penetrating the backfield.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:05 PM
What I don’t understand is that, if it is truly all about money, doesn’t some form of playoff generate more $$$.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:05 PM
Boise State easily got screwed the most. V-Tech just looked terrible. Just ridiculous they are playing Mich.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:05 PM
I don’t know about you, but I haven’t had a reason to turn it to ESPN at all today…I’m not even one of those “Fuck ESPN at all times except when they’re showing a game”, but all the bowls were announced on twitter an hour earlier.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:06 PM
That draft process wouldn’t have changed the Rose Bowl
Sometime they leave the Rose Bowl alone but a few years ago Iowa played USC in the Orange Bowl and Oklahoma played Washington State in the Rose Bowl. The Rose Bowl wanted Iowa but couldn’t get them apparently – SC would probably know
December 4th, 2011 at 9:07 PM
And please stop with all the “this is gonna be another 6-6 stinker…” Game will be completely different with all the time off these teams are going to have, not to mention the rematch factor. Ritty
I agree with this a whole bunch. Sadly, we are going to have to read this for the next five weeks. I think it will be a great game.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:08 PM
Nice curveball on Dexter this season.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:09 PM
it was a sarcastic comment regarding your sarcastic tag about repeating the same things 100 times. that’s all you get from ESPN shows
December 4th, 2011 at 9:09 PM
trader – I’m with you and agree.
I need to figure out something nice to do on Jan 9th. Maybe since the college football season is over at that point, I’ll take Mrs. Squawk out for a nice evening on the town, maybe take in a show.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:10 PM
I’m hoping for a completely anti-climatic bowl season. LSU wins comfortably. Okie State loses. Trent Richardson doesn’t win the Heisman and proves he can’t read during the ceremony in New York. Something along those lines.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:10 PM
Yep, the same way we would have heard how horribly blown out OSU would be if they’d been chosen.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:12 PM
Nah. I think that game would have ended up a lot like last year’s game. Defense wins the day, offense at least puts on a show, close game. Oh well.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:12 PM
How so? They’ll get to play in Jerry World with a chance to beat another top 10 team. You cant lose twice by 24 points and really have a right to complain. Cotton is the next best thing to a BCS bowl anyways. LSU used it last year to propel themselves this season.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:12 PM
Once again, all I have to do to make fun of bama, is report the truth …
“We’re the elite team in the league right now. LSU is good, but we’re gooder.”
– Alabama’s Trent Richardson on CBS, making the case for a Crimson Tide-LSU rematch.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:13 PM
Lions are killing themselves with penalties.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:13 PM
dexter has completely sucked ass this season. 3rd executive producer in 3 years will do that.
you could see that curveball coming a month ago.
i’m more interested in downloading homeland each monday over dexter
December 4th, 2011 at 9:15 PM
Those teams won a combined 2 games against teams from BCS conferences, UCLA and Arizona St.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:17 PM
he won’t win anyways. 2 good games doesn’t earn you the Heisman unless you’re a few certain writers
December 4th, 2011 at 9:17 PM
U of A! U of A! U of A!
December 4th, 2011 at 9:17 PM
Well, you’re more smarterer than I am.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:17 PM
I’m hoping for a completely anti-climatic bowl season. LSU wins comfortably. Okie State loses. Trent Richardson doesn’t win the Heisman and proves he can’t read during the ceremony in New York. Something along those lines.
Hardy har har. Well done.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:18 PM
To me the biggest embarrassment is Pat Forde. He says on Twitter that Oklahoma State would need to win huge to have a case. When they win huge, he changes his mind, saying that Oklahoma must have really imploded at the end of the year, and thus wasn’t any good. Ass.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:18 PM
Seriously? what a moron
December 4th, 2011 at 9:20 PM
As a VT alum, I see that finally america recognizes VT as the national football powerhouse we truly are, and awards us a well deserved bcs bowl. But seriously. We’ve been humiliated twice by the only ‘legit’ team we’ve played all year. And our reward is a BCS bowl instead of Boise or whoever else? But I’m supposed to take this sport seriously? REALLY?
JETS back on the road to playoffs!!
December 4th, 2011 at 9:23 PM
Stafford fucking sucks.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:26 PM
Stafford > the QBs at Bama and LSU
December 4th, 2011 at 9:27 PM
Does Virginia Tech actually travel all that well? And didn’t Boise St. sell a ton of tix for their previous BCS bowls. I would also think the ratings would be better as well.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:28 PM
no, yes, yes
December 4th, 2011 at 9:28 PM
I don’t understand some of these matchups. Iowa vs Oklahoma?
December 4th, 2011 at 9:30 PM
Yes that will happen if the Big 10 or Pac 12 champs are in the national title game
December 4th, 2011 at 9:31 PM
We’re shitting on OkSU’s OOC schedule when Bama played North Texas, Kent State, a 1-AA team and a Penn State club who last we saw them didn’t deserve to be on the field with Wisconsin…the Cowboys had a better resume which is the sort of thing people always throw out when it comes to shitting on Boise State but I guess it doesn’t matter since they’re not in a more recognizable uniform
December 4th, 2011 at 9:34 PM
If you’re trying to argue against Ok St’s strength of schedule, you need a new argument.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:34 PM
exactly. Also, having preseason rankings corrupts the process. If it was a someone like Oregon, USC, Oklahoma, or Texas in Okie State’s shoes, those teams would get the chance against LSU
December 4th, 2011 at 9:39 PM
I agree with the second part 100%, but I don’t think it’s really the preseason rankings in this case. I believe OkSU was ranked in the top 10 in most/all preseason rankings. It’s more that they’re Oklahoma State — i.e. a team that has never played in a BCS game and has never really accomplished anything in its history. I have no doubt that if, hypothetically, OU had beaten Baylor and OkSU, their loss to Texas Tech would not have disqualified them the same way OSU’s loss to Iowa State did.
On the other hand I know many Oklahoma State fans and while there’s some disappointment, they’re generally pretty happy with a beatdown of OU and appearance in their first BCS game, as well as what’s already the best season in school history.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:43 PM
Whats so hard to understand about a combined 2 wins over major conference teams. Bama played in front of 110K against a 9 win team. Just because they laid an egg on the road against a Wisconsin team that should be in this national title discussion if not for some ridiculous hail mary’s doesnt mean they all of a sudden are terrible.
If you want to argue the in conference schedule was harder go for it.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:48 PM
Another interesting quirk. If LSU beats Bama and OSU wins its bowl game big, then OSU finishes #2 and Bama #3. In that case the BCS contradicts itself and now declares OSU is better than Bama.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:50 PM
And one team had to play 9 games against tougher conference competition to boot…there really is no argument for Alabama based on resume but this is college football so it shouldn’t come as a surprise, so much of it is based on off-the-field stuff
December 4th, 2011 at 9:50 PM
Ok State played every team in their conference. Bama only one 1 game against the top 5 SEC Teams.
Also Penn State sucks. Their best win this year was Iowa.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:51 PM
December 4th, 2011 at 9:51 PM
OSU’s in conference schedule > Bama’s
yes, Bama played in front of 110K against a 9 win team who beat no really good teams.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:54 PM
hell, my team (Syracuse) sucks but at least they went out west to play the USC Trojans.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:59 PM
Refs missed a blatant offsides by a player who blocked the FG attempt. Garbage, zero penalties on the Saints in the 1st half.
December 4th, 2011 at 10:01 PM
garbage = lions defense, no?
December 4th, 2011 at 10:04 PM
Playing zone against Drew Brees and not blitzing is garbage. They are missing their 2 best secondary players as well. So I blame Cunningham.
December 4th, 2011 at 10:09 PM
‘Bama had two weeks during the first game. Scored six points. So they’ll score twelve this time? Unless ‘Bama has suddenly developed a D-1 level QB and kicker, it’s gonna be more of the same.
Still not sure how everyone’s trying to trumpet ‘Bama’s OOC schedule when it was basically an overrated Penn St. team and Cupcakes 1-3?
/this is gonna suck
December 4th, 2011 at 10:10 PM
I like when the Saints play in primetime, cause i can go to bed at 10PM EST knowing who won.
December 4th, 2011 at 10:11 PM
I’m with you, Redick.
Out.
/hope to wake up at 1 am to pee and check my phone to see the Saints covered 8.5 and the under 56 hit, too
December 4th, 2011 at 10:15 PM
Every ACC season seems to go the same way. The “best” team gets beat by and up-and-coming hot team, only to see that team lose to someone else who loses to a fourth team who beats The Citadel. Except that Va Tech usually finds a way to wade through that and still look halfway decent. Not this year though. No way the ACC should have two schools in the BCS.
December 4th, 2011 at 10:19 PM
The 2-11 record in BCS bowls not impressing you?
December 4th, 2011 at 10:21 PM
Lions are such a fucking stupid team.
December 4th, 2011 at 10:23 PM
And here I thought they were 3-10. So now I’m even less impressed.
December 4th, 2011 at 10:36 PM
He’s playing really well. Sack and penetrating the backfield.
i like how hisfat fucking dirty-play face gets smushed by his chinstrap
December 4th, 2011 at 10:41 PM
Shit. If the refs had called the offsides at the end of the half and Titus Young wasn’t a retard this would be a tie game. Oh and according to Dan Wetzel, the B1G commissioner didn’t want Boise St. to play Michigan so they didn’t get in. What garbage.
December 4th, 2011 at 10:46 PM
Agreed, but that can’t surprise you. Plus the game is in New Orleans, and it’s hard to believe Boise would draw/travel well in that area.
December 4th, 2011 at 10:48 PM
we should have a bowl pool. vladdy, does cbs or yahoo do those for folks?
December 4th, 2011 at 10:49 PM
The same guy that lobbied for OSU’s ineligible guys to play in last years Sugar Bowl? Now that was bullshit.
December 4th, 2011 at 10:53 PM
the shit is so much like national politics…the system sucks and everyone is controlled by money
December 4th, 2011 at 10:54 PM
What the hell Linehan/Stafford. What the fuck kind of play calling is that?
December 4th, 2011 at 10:56 PM
I usually laugh at sportsbybrooks but last year he talked about Big Ten commissioner Jim Delaney being the most important and influential person in college football. Dan Wetzel seems to prove that accurate. Delaney didn’t want another Big Ten team to be exposed in a bowl game.
December 4th, 2011 at 10:56 PM
Boise State’s offense would assfuck that Michigan defense
December 4th, 2011 at 11:00 PM
They should stop accepting bowl bids then.
December 4th, 2011 at 11:00 PM
Whatever happened to bumping people at the line? Graham/Brees, too fucking good. At least Stafford has played well. Stupid fucking penalties have killed the Lions as well as poor play calling at inopportune times.
December 4th, 2011 at 11:00 PM
terrible
December 4th, 2011 at 11:01 PM
Maybe, maybe not, but what is undoubtedly true is that instead they’ll get to assfuck a 6-6 Arizona State in the Jeep Cherokee WhoGivesAFuckBowl, and they’d better smile while doing it.
December 4th, 2011 at 11:02 PM
I really enjoyed LSU’s performance in the Citrus against Penn State a couple years ago
/Troll So Hard muhfuckers wanna fine me
December 4th, 2011 at 11:04 PM
Delaney saw what happened to Wisconsin against TCU last year and definitely wants his most famous program to have a cupcake game against Va Tech. Michigan-Boise State would be an amazing shootout
December 4th, 2011 at 11:06 PM
Nobody should be surprised the Lions are an undisciplined team. Their coach had undisciplined douchebags like Cortland Finnegan and Albert Haynesworth playing for him when he was the D.C. for the Titans
December 4th, 2011 at 11:07 PM
Les Miles’ only non-conference loss in 7 seasons at LSU. Btw An Arky fan ripping another team’s bowl performance is hilarious. Troll successful.
December 4th, 2011 at 11:09 PM

The BCS is cynical, insidious graft. We readily acknowledge this, yet, still, we flock to it like crack fiends.
I love this line. We just can’t say no. We see how jacked up the BCS can be, and we don’t walk away. We can’t walk away.
Crack is wack!

from MTV, late 80s early 90s, i remember a spot with one of the beastie boys’ moms. the beastie boy says word to your mother, and she says, ‘that’s me, i’m his mother, word to me’

To the person that asked Boise has no value at all once they lose the first game. They don’t travel as they only have 237 real fans and they spend most of their time trolling message boards about how great they are and how they will play anyone anywhere except for the part about play anyone anywhere unless its under Boises terms.

I don’t have a “rational” argument – I’d rather see an OSU/LSU game, but if OSU/Bama were to play and I was forced to bet my house on one team, I’d put it on Bama.
