Alexander Ovechkin is Dating Maria Kirilenko
Alex Ovechkin, the NHL’s best player who also is a skilled dancer and seemingly the life of every party he enters, is now dating tennis player Maria Kirilenko. Ovechkin tweeted a photo of the couple recently. Well done, Alex.
The last woman Ovechkin was rumored to be dating was a 22-year-old model last summer.
Kirilenko is currently the 28th-ranked women’s tennis player in the world and also was in the SI Swimsuit issue in 2009. [via Hot Clicks]

Crosby is clearly the best player in the league. But I found it funny on PTI was talking about Crosby “owning” Ovechkin head to head. Not quite. It also helps that Sid has a better coach, goalie, defense, and penalty kill. Those things are sort of a big deal in the playoffs.

That is a good question. Before this little “controversy” that isn’t, I would have said they showcase and see if they can move him this year at the deadline. There’s another up and comer in the Canuck system – Lack – who could take his place. But now, I think you need a more reliable backup – or 1a as they call him now.
In the offseason, yeah I could see them trying to move him if they get a decent offer.
