Rolando McClain of the Raiders Arrested for Allegedly Firing a Gun Next to a Man’s Ear in Alabama

Rolando McClain of the Oakland Raiders went back to his home state of Alabama this week for his Grandfather’s funeral. McClain, you may recall, was a football legend with the Crimson Tide, where he was a Lambert and Butkus award winner. For reasons that currently remain a mystery, here’s what happened to McClain on his trip home:
Police said the victim told them that McClain, now a linebacker with the NFL’s Oakland Raiders, put a pistol to his head while he was lying on the ground, and fired a shot next to his ear after he begged McClain not to shoot him.
McClain, 22, was charged with third-degree assault, menacing, reckless endangerment and discharging a firearm inside the city limits, all of which are misdemeanors, police said. He was in Decatur City Jail this afternoon on bonds totaling $2,000.
The victim, whose name was not released, told police that he got into a fight with Willingham Wednesday night. The victim told police who had responded to the call that he crawled to his car after the fight.
He said that when he reached his car McClain put a gun to his head while he was lying on the ground, police said.

Maybe his surroundings looked too similar to “Fallen”, he snapped, and fired a bullet.
“but like I said, I can’t stand sitting back and waiting for the action to come to me. I want to be on the attack.”

This gunshot-by-the-ear-thing is featured prominently in the Safe House trailer, the next Denzel movie.

Shocking, seeing how going back home to Bama after busting in Oakland has worked so, so well for JaCarcass.

And across the bay a class act like Patrick Willis is chillin in a new beautiful home in the hills with a fat contract. Some idiots just don’t get it and never will.

McClain managed to find his way into this scuffle while he was excused from practice by the Raiders — so he could be home for the funeral of his grandfather.

In Alabama – “Assault in the third degree – Class A Misdemeanor: A class A misdemeanor is one in which the sentence can be no more than one (1) year (which is generally served in the county jail in which you were arrested), and fine that may not exceed $6,000.00.”
That’s it? For firing a gun next to someone’s head to scare them, and no doubt making them totally deaf in that ear?
