I was just looking over depth charts, and LSU will lose 6 starters on D assuming Claiborne leaves early, but they’ll return 3/4 on the DL, with their most athletic DL (Mingo) stepping in to the full time gig. They are going to be scary good in 2012, too. They only lose two OL unless someone goes early, meaning they’ll pound the rock just the same in 2012. They have a legit shot at back-to-back titles, though beating Bama will be tough.

La’El Collins is going to be an All-American at LT, and he’s not starting this year. The OL will be light years better. Same thing with the DL. Anthony “Freak” Johnson and Ego Ferguson are going to be as good as the linemen they replace. 5-star Craig Loston replaces Brandon Taylor, and Tharold Simon has seen a ton of time already and will replace Clayborne.
