Video: Austin Rivers’ Sick Crossover… And-1
All, College Basketball, Video November 29th. 2011, 10:20pm
Austin Rivers was born in 1992. Yeah, we’re getting old. Here he is crossing up Jordan Sibert in ridiculously easy fashion. Like a true scorer, he finishes at the rim with the hoop and the harm. Duke currently trails by double-digits in the first half and Rivers will be in the NBA next year. That’s all.

That’s some better below-the-rim action than Sullinger.

Man I’ll tell you what, when Beilein finally gets his guys, Michigan will get routed at a bottom-tier ACC school.

Its early in the season but I thought Rivers and Curry would make a tremendous tandem with Rivers opening up the outside for Curry.

Love Dickie V justifying the blowout with saying “Ohio St can’t play any better than this.” So Ohio St is peaking in November because that can be the only reason Duke is being outclassed.

Urban is already getting work done on the recruiting trail with visits etc.

Scary thought: Ohio State had 6th ranked ESPN recruiting class, none of those 5 players saw any meaningful minutes tonight

Rivers was sick in this game, only plumlee #2 made the trip with him. Smith slowed rivers down bur siebert was outclassed by him all night. Good thing the Bucks dominated in every other aspect.

Sibert played 15 minutes, 10 of which when the game was a 20 point game. “all night?” What on earth are you talking about?

Not a Dukie though. They will not win in Coach K’s style playing his type of ball. The guy literally made one pass all night long. That’s not how their perimeter-oriented team is built. Gonna be a long year for them if his selfish play continues. Played right into Thad Matta’s hands.

Wow, November college hoops games don’t move the needle here? 12 comments for no. 2 vs. no. 3? I bet they would if this were BCS style and a loss actually meant something.

Coudn’t agree more Cursed. I was at the game (7 rows behind Coach K) and Rivers was playground all night long. The Dukie bench was not happy, believe me.

Yawn.

. There weren’t passes to be made. Everyone knows Rivers is the only player with significant playing time on the team that can create off the dribble. The way to play Duke is to not help off of your man. You can let Rivers get his all day. None of those other players are going to beat you in the style of offense they play.

AUSTIN RIVERS FUCKING SUCKS AT BASKETBALL, HE CAN’T PASS, CAN’T CATCH AND SHOOT, CAN’T CREATE HIS OWN SHOT IN THE NBA, HE IS FUCKING USELESS.
