Ndamukong Suh Ejected For Being A Horrible Thanksgiving Dinner Host
Ndamukong Suh struck again today with another incredibly dirty and obvious play. Suh got tangled and went to the ground with Packers lineman, Evan Dietrich-Smith. Suh was on top of Dietrich-Smith and clearly shoved his helmet to the turf three times before getting up. When he got up, a Green Bay player shoved Suh because he had been ramming his teammate’s head into the carpet. Suh took this opportunity to stomp Dietrich-Smith’s arm.
After the game, Suh said that he – along with “the man upstairs” – knows what he did today, claiming that he had only put his foot down to try and regain his balance. If you assume that Suh is referring to Roger Goodell, then yes, he does know what Suh did because it’s on tape. Via ESPN:
“What I did was remove myself from the situation the best way I felt, with me being held down.”
“My intention was not to kick anybody, as I did not, removing myself,” he said. “I was on top of a guy, being pulled down, and trying to get up off the ground — and why you see me pushing his helmet down, because I’m trying to remove myself from the situation, and as I’m getting up, I’m getting pushed, so I’m getting myself on balance.”
Suh should be have a little less money to spend at Black Friday sales tonight. Hopefully, he also sits a game or two because, wow, what a dick.

no suspension needed. dirty but not awful

In a vacuum it maybe wouldn’t deserve a suspension, but the NFL needs to send Suh a message given his history, and the fact that he just had his “summit” with Goodell to supposedly clarify all these hard, complicated rules like “Don’t rip helmets off”.

speaking of helmets….that Lucic fight in the Bruins Sabres game last night…I thought hockey was trying to get rid of helmets coming off in fights?? or is that just in junior? Kid got killed in a fight a few years ago and hockey reacted with new rules.
But Suh….this is the first “dirty” things he’s done.

So, so very racist, CRM.
Side note: Thanksgiving doesn’t seem to be a very big deal in Germany. Weird, right?

That rule doesn’t apply to the Packers.

First, starkweather, I hope you are joking over calling CRM racist. Please, oh please be joking…
Secondly, Vladimir, there is a HUGE difference between accidentally popping a helmet off in a tackle scuffle, and maliciously, intentionally tearing an opponents face mask apart and throwing it to the ground… I’m not saying there aren’t Packer face masks, I see them all the time. Suh is just out and out dirty, nasty, and wicked dangerous about it.

He may be dirty but he is a bad ass. Changed the entire game with out him in there.

Suh ain’t a bad ass. He’s a chump ass bitch. I will no longer defend him. His lack of control is inexcusable. I’ll say that the refs allowing the packers o-line to have cart blanche is disgusting and bullshit though. Suh has under performed throughout this season.

That’s junior. The NHL has a rule where a player instigating a fight while wearing a visor gets an extra two minute penalty. Once Gausted dropped the lid, Lucic felt obligated to lose his.

Suh has major anger problems. You can play aggressive and smart. He plays stupid
November 25th, 2011 at 11:35 AM
Being bad ass isn’t an excuse for being stupid.
