Victim One, the first known alleged victim of abuse by former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky, had to leave his school in the middle of his senior year because of bullying, his counselor said Sunday … The name-calling and verbal threats were just too much, he said.

I laughed as well. High school kids are assholes, it sucks that this kid is really going to have to deal with this type of crap the rest of his life.

State College is a small enough town that I’m sure the rumor mill was flying with who was which victim.
This isn’t in State College – it’s a county away. This is also the same county that made it to the Little League WS this year.

If anyone thinks this outcome was unique to Central Mountain High School, they are sadly mistaken. I’m not saying that that is what you’re saying here, but this kid would have been taunted and cut to pieces in almost every school in the country once something like this came out.

yeah. for the most part i side with the cops when doing crowd control. I’ve got a good buddy who is a cop and it’s not an easy task… but the use of pepper spray and tasers in that manner is very hard to stomach.

These kids have no more of an understanding of the ability of an adult to manipulate a vulnerable child than the victim does. All they know in their minds is as an 13, 14 year old, no man would be talking them into sucking dicks or allowing him to do it to them, and they can’t comprehend why he did. This is no different than how many people on here compare how they would have reacted to how McQueary did.

I love how McQuery parlayed watching a ten yr old get butt sex into a staff position at a top 10 program and a plum gig as a recruiting coord. Good for him.

It’s sad to see this went on so long. So many victims. This is the very reason I didn’t report my molestation from a band teacher when I was in high school, at 14yrs old. Everyone’s reaction to this great teacher whom by the way volunteered his home to have the homecoming floats built, along with everclear and pot to part take of well now you see why I hesitated but when I got older, and strong. i reported it. I shouldn’t have let my fear stop me from telling. It was violent, and at first ruined how i related to men. Thank God for counseling, and supportive people. Shame on you kids who bullied these kids who reported it. What about them? What about their self disgust you should be careful, it almost put me in a grave, and you know if this continues might happen to these children. They needs protection and constant support to be honest and move forward.
