Video: Robert Griffin III’s 87-Yard Tipped Ball Touchdown Pass

Robert Griffin III! Does 21 of 34 for 479 yards and 4 touchdowns sound good? I don’t care that those number are inflated by this absurd 87-yard tipped-pass touchdown from RG3 to Kendall Wright. Why was Wright still running full speed down the field at that point in the play? No one will ever know.

Among other teams still alive for a BCS bid is Utah. They are currently 4-4 in the Pac-10.

I read a description of this play and did not picture it like this. Fucking awesome.

Why was Wright still running full speed down the field at that point in the play?
you could also ask why RG3 didn’t hold the ball for a half second longer and then throw it to Wright in the first place. He was about to be right where he ended up, with that Oklahoma defender about where he ended up.
This game wasn’t televised where I live, until the USC game was over. I don’t know why, since one espn channel had a bunch of people yammering about NASCAR at the same time this was going on.
