Thanksgiving has come early for hockey fans! After more than 10 and half months on the shelf, Sidney Crosby will again participate in an National Hockey League game. Crosby was cleared for contact a little over a month ago and Pittsburgh fans have been waiting with bated breath ever since.

Crosby’s return will come against the New York Islanders who are in last place in the Atlantic Division and have the second-fewest points in the NHL. The Penguins are currently tied atop the Eastern Conference with the Philadelphia Flyers. The return of hockey’s Chosen One shouldn’t hurt business.
