Jay Cutler Has A Broken Thumb on His Throwing Hand [UPDATE: Out 6-8 Weeks]
During today’s 31-20 win over the Chargers, Bears quarterback Jay Cutler broke the thumb on his throwing hand. Cutler played with the injury during the game. He’ll have further tests we’ll wait to hear from Maurice Jones-Drew on the severity of the fracture and how long, if it all, Cutler will be out.
[UPDATE: Vaughn McClure of the Chicago Tribune is now reporting that Cutler will be out 6-8 weeks, which should be the rest of the regular season]

They should have originally announced he is out 6-8 weeks with a torn thumb nail just so we could see the reaction and tweets

I actually feel a bit bad for Cutler. He was unfairly ripped in the playoffs…especially by a-hole players on Twitter…and showed real toughness this season. But…it’s the Bears so…Screw ‘em

brutal, brutal loss.

I’m beside myself with grief. Cutler makes a couple throws a game (Knox to the 1 setting up a td today) that only a healthy Manning, Brees or Brady can make… you can hate him for being a d-bag, but you have to admit he’s been a fantastic QB this season.
Where is MJD tweeting about his toughness now?

tough break for Cutler (he’s been having a solid season), but yeah.

It’s a shame that the Bears have such a cake schedule remaining. They will still probably win 10 games…
/fuck

i do admit he’s been fantastic…and I can’t stand him…I only wish it had been Suh to bust him.
Oh well

Fucking Redskin kicker. If the Cowboys end up with a 11 wins now I’ll be pissed.

Fuck Suh.

Based on what I’ve seen, Rodgers > Everyone else, and Brees has taken a step back. I was really impressed with a couple throws Rodgers had today.

Heard the Favre rumors, but I would think Kurt Warner would be a perfect fit in his old coach’s system. He seems rather happy in retirement, though.

You know how when you play pick-up hoops, and there is that one guy who is stumbling around, causing others to get hurt? He might have had skills at one time, but now he thinks his flailing around means he has “heart”?
That’s the Chargers right now.
