What’s funny was that the announcers were acting like all OSU had to do was get the ball past the 50 and the game was over. Because their kicker was a cross between Adam Vinatieri and Sebastian Janikowski.

If OSU did beat Oklahoma, I think they ought to get first dibs. They didn’t lose to LSU, and I’m guessing it’s pretty hard to be focused the day after a plane crash.

Plus, LSU would DESTROY them. From what I saw last night, they’re West Virginia with a much, much, much, much, much worse defense.

I’m not categorically anti-rematch, although I’d rather not see it. BUT, if LSU loses and there’s still a rematch of 1-loss SEC teams, that would be some bullshit.

Oregon does not deserve to go ahead of Alabama based on how both teams played LSU.

And if Oklahoma wanted to get in, all they had to do was beat a Texas Tech team that’s been outscored 9,000-7 since they beat Oklahoma.

This sets up the LSU vs. Alabama rematch as far and away the most likely BCS scenario. LSU is basically in.

-loses at home w/o scoring a TD,
-can’t outright win their conference
-can’t outright win their division

Wow, completely misses this. OkSU hadnt beaten anyone decent all year, and with that defense was bound to get burnt. LSU/Bama have looked eminently beatable in recent weeks, opens the door for OU/Oregon and even Clemson/Arkansas if things go nuts.

I really hate the idea of LSU-Bama for the NC. Enough that I could root for Arkansas and Georgia Southern. And Auburn. Houston in the BCS title game would be a good time. Case Keenum deserves a special 7th year senior award for being awesome and having the most passing yards ever in a season that didn’t count against his eligibility.
