Willie Roaf, being HOF-cockblocked despite 11 Pro Bowls because he didn’t play in a major media market.

He wasn’t first ballot, but he’s going in soon.

Everyone will scoff, but to this day I contend that if Lawrence Taylor had played in N.O. and Ricky Jackson had played in NY, Jackson would have been a first-ballot HOFer and Taylor would have had to wait 15 years to get in.

1978-80. Archie was great, even if the INTs and the 1-15 mark in ’80 don’t reflect it.
