Twitter is abuzz right now regarding Jose Reyes and his possible alliance with the Miami Marlins, who apparently finally plan to spend some of the money they’ve been hoarding for the last 10-plus years. Maury Brown first reported that MLB Network Radio reported the deal as happening pending a physical, then Brown followed up his initial report with a report that MLB Network Radio did not report said report, and he is now reporting that he has heard this report elsewhere.

Follow? Of course you do. A search of Jose Reyes on Twitter has proven to be more dizzying than Ric Flair’s robe collection.

For what’s it worth, Marlins beat reporter Joe Capozzi has submitted a succinct tweet stating that Reyes is not a Marlin, but that doesn’t exactly help a whole lot since that could mean he simply has to yet pass a physical.
