Kim Kardashian Was Supposedly Rejected by Danilo Gallinari Before Settling on Kris Humphries
Kim Kardashian really wanted to date Danilo Gallinari – formerly of the Knicks, now with the Nuggets – but he rejected her and she settled for Kris Humphries of the Nets, the blog Wetpaint claims. I’d never heard of Wet Paint until about 11 minutes ago, but it claims to have an inside source to this story:
last fall, a representative of E! … approached the New York Knicks to find out if Danilo Gallinari, the studly Italian who was then a forward on the team, would be interested in dating Kim. According to our source, both E! and Kim were interested in having her date a big New York athlete for the debut season of Kourtney & Kim Take New York, and the Knicks were their first choice … Gallinari — then 22 to Kim’s 30 — was told that such a move would be good for his career and that he would garner lots of media exposure. Gallinari declined, saying he would be happy to meet Kim but wasn’t interested in dating or being a reality-show star. E! had “no comment” when we called them.
So Kardashian settled for Humphries. I’ll add this little slice of conjecture (I certainly won’t be the first to posit this): The marriage was a sham. It was a cunning ruse for ratings and branding and the millions of dollars that came with it. Kardashian is a savvier version of Paris Hilton (both banged tons of athletes), Spencer and Heidi. Kim – who has probably had as much plastic surgery as Heidi – will milk the divorce for magazine covers and ratings and the cycle will continue. It is still difficult to fathom that she’s built such an incredible empire mostly on sucking a rapper’s dick in a low-rent porn.
Kris Humphries doesn’t care about any of this. The lockout will end, he’ll sign a deal somewhere, continue to make millions, and the wedding to Kardashian will only work to his benefit with NBA groupies.

Is it? Have you seen her body? The ass, I’ll grant, isn’t for everyone, but she’s got some pretty incredible tits as well.

I think she is revolting.

Exactly. And I think the problem that TBL has is the failure to realize that you can say that without simultaneously asserting that you want to put your dick in her or that you condone the fact that she’s had multiple dicks in her.

not to shift the topic, but are we going to get 3-4 hours of Andrew Luck coverage on ESPN every Tues/Wed/Thurs for the rest of the football season? when there are no games to talk about, it’s all Andrew Luck, all the time

Are you actually surprised, Jason? This is the network that spent 3 days on the LaRussa/bullpen phone not-that-big-of-a-story-past-the-first-night story. This is the network that had the Miami Heat Panic Meter after every single regular season game. The network values quantity over quality.

But hey, those are some nice funbags, Kim!

October 27th, 2011 at 11:46 AM
If ESPN doesn’t have a piece of the pie, it doesn’t really matter to them. It’s sad that the real brains of ESPN aren’t in management.
October 27th, 2011 at 11:46 AM
What, are they going to talk about all the thrilling games we were a party to this past weekend? This is the worst the NFL has looked in years, how are more people not talking about this (oh probably b/c every network airs the games, so you’re not going to get people honestly talking bout the product)
I think the 32 teams has caught up to the league…that and the lack of practices. But that’s what the players wanted, a better quality of life. Can’t blame ‘em. But Saturdays are so much more entertaining than Sundays right now, and that’s with all the blowouts there’s been in college.
October 27th, 2011 at 11:47 AM

Jaguars and Browns might play to a scoreless draw in a couple weeks.
October 27th, 2011 at 11:52 AM
I wasn’t necessarily insulting them. I was just stating that a bad game in Cleveland must make it hard for Cleveland sports radio to fill 3-4 hours per show
October 27th, 2011 at 11:52 AM
It did not help things this past week that Buffalo, New England, Philly, NY Giants, San Francisco, and Cincinnati were all on the bye.
October 27th, 2011 at 11:53 AM
They are terrific…their will always be bad teams and good teams in the NFL, and there’s really no way to quantify the overall play of the league, but just the stupid eye test (I hate that term), it stinks this year. There are literally 20 teams that are unwatchable.
October 27th, 2011 at 11:54 AM

i think it’ll come down to which pass rush strips the ball and gets a return for a TD or sets up a FG. two good pass rushes.
October 27th, 2011 at 11:55 AM
I’d say it has a lot more to do with the lockout. I think the quality will rise as the year goes on. Also a lot of the good teams so far this year had a bye last week so the games were ultra shitty. I think the NFL has also geared the NFL schedule to be better in November/December by pushing most division games back to then.
October 27th, 2011 at 11:56 AM
Yes people have been complaining so much about all the incredible quarterback play and early season offensive output. People hate that.

this.
offenses have been coming back down to earth and defenses have been playing better, except for the packers.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:00 PM
Again, while GB and NE are great, there are a ton of shit-tastic teams this year. Even teams with winning records (CHI, TB, ATL, SD) have looked like shit in many games. I have to think the lockout and the new practice rules are affecting players and it will take some time for them to adjust.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:01 PM
There are no good early games:
MIA/NYG
JAX/HOU
IND/TEN
MIN/CAR
ARI/BAL
NO/STL
The late games are slightly better:
WAS/BUF
NE/PIT
DET/DEN
CLE/SF
CIN/SEA
Thankfully Sunday night is Dallas-Philly
October 27th, 2011 at 12:01 PM
I mean, there have been more double digit comebacks in the NFL this year than I can ever remember. If you arent entertained, I dont know what to tell you.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:01 PM
Teams are averaging an incredible <1 point per game more than last year.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:02 PM
Sure, the lockout and diminished offseason has had some minor effect. But this is how the early NFL season looks every year. September and October are chaos.

yeah, but none of this means it’s worse than college games. I have been privy to some seriously bad prime time college games, bad teams playing bad football in prime TV slots.
I’ll take sundays, thanks.

It’s come down the last couple of weeks, predictably. Noticed I said “early season”, and I didn’t just mean in terms of points. Teams with good passing games owned defenses the first month.

This is one of the best lines TBL has ever written. This story isn’t really surprising considering what a fame whore she is, but good for Gallinari for stiff arming her.

Until he starts openly expressing his religious beliefs that you don’t agree with, that is..and then it’s off with his fucking head, amiright?
October 27th, 2011 at 12:05 PM
Nice. It’s been a couple of weeks without a good night game.
Was I arguing one side or the other? I was simply saying the NFL has been a bit blah for the first half, that’s all. I think teams will pick it up as the year goes on. Let’s not make this a dick measuring contest.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:06 PM
The primetime games this year have looked much more shittastic because of Peyton being out. Clearly the schedule makers were banking on him playing in the early weeks.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:06 PM
And stiffing her with something else, first
October 27th, 2011 at 12:06 PM
Until he starts openly expressing his religious beliefs that you don’t agree with, that is..and then it’s off with his fucking head, amiright?
I hated Tebow in college, and all the Jesus stuff, too. Now, I root for Tebow like crazy, despite all the Jesus stuff. I finally figured out why the other day. It’s because I don’t like Denver. So I root for Tebow to succeed, because that’s bad news for Denver.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:06 PM
I don’t know about all this. Some if it may depend on what conference you follow regularly, but Sundays have still been pretty great this year.
Lots of surprises and volatility, which makes the season exciting. Tough to judge the NFL by September/October play, but I can see why a college football fan would judge that time period because of the “EVERY WEEK IS LIFE OR DEATH” paradigm.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:07 PM
College has had some terrible primetime games, but college ALWAYS makes up for it by showing you games all day on every station. That’s why saturdays are still better IMO. Spaced out games throughout the day, while the NFL only gives you 2 games in one spot, then 1 at another, than a national game at night. I can’t even get Direct TV.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:07 PM
Let’s not make this a dick measuring contest.
you know who says that? Guys with tiny penises.
I was arguing with cursed cleveland, using your quote to do it.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:08 PM
No, you fucking idiot. I don’t give a fuck that Tebow is religious. I get annoyed that someone who should have never been a first round QB pick gets blown like he’s the second coming of John Elway any time he completes a 10-yard hitch.
I don’t know what the Jax owner has on Goodell, but the Jags having 3 primetime games is mind numbing.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:08 PM

SEC viewership is down %18 because of their shitty games this year.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:08 PM
If I didn’t have Sunday Ticket I’d certainly enjoy Saturdays more, too.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:09 PM

so now it’s not about the quality of play, but availability of games? If I don’t like Big 10 football (and I don’t) then all that spacing you’re talking about falls apart, because the noon game on 3 different channels is a Big 10 vs Patsy, or a big 10 vs big 10 (patsy).
October 27th, 2011 at 12:09 PM
This is why I prefer Sat’s. There are so many games on, that one is bound to be great. NFL Sunday’s have a much smaller chance of having a great game, and I’m not about to drop the $400 on the Sunday Ticket package.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:10 PM
I typed them out the other night during the WS game and the awful MNF game but the next few weeks of primetime games are pretty decent:
Dallas-Philly/Chargers-Chiefs
Baltimore-Pittsburgh/Bears-Eagles
Patriots-Jets/Vikings-Packers
Eagles-Giants/Chiefs-Patriots
Steelers-Chiefs/Giants-Saints
Those are all good until Week 13 which is Indy-Patriots and Chargers-Jags. I’ll assume that Colts-Pats will be flexed out with any of the following games: Bengals-Steelers, Falcons-Texans, Lions-Saints, or Packers-Giants.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:11 PM
Fair point, although how does the NFL not space it’s games out more throughout Sundays? Why would they object to this? Even if I did have the Sunday Ticket, how closely can you really watch 7 one o’clock games that are all on at the same time?
October 27th, 2011 at 12:11 PM
Pats/Colts will be flexed out, right?
October 27th, 2011 at 12:11 PM
I think this has a lot to do with a ‘here are some primetime games until that stadium in Los Angeles is built’
October 27th, 2011 at 12:12 PM
I don’t know what the Jax owner has on Goodell, but the Jags having 3 primetime games is mind numbing.
part of it (I’m reasonably sure) is that ESPN is trying to get the opponent of Jacksonville, and only end up getting to choose from a very small number of games to get those teams (Indy, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, and the like), because NBC gets whatever they want, and the other channels can only protect a few
October 27th, 2011 at 12:12 PM
Considering what we saw on Sunday, how could they not?
October 27th, 2011 at 12:12 PM
This game has to get the call as long as NYG are above .500. GB and a NY team would be ratings gold for NBC.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:13 PM
Fox may protect that game as it’s the 4:15 game
October 27th, 2011 at 12:13 PM
I have multiple TVs setup (and buddies who split cost with me), but we don’t even try to watch every game. Focus on 1 or 2, one TV on RZC, and then roll with whatever gets good around 3.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:13 PM
Even if I did have the Sunday Ticket, how closely can you really watch 7 one o’clock games that are all on at the same time?
how closely are you watching all the games on Saturday? How closely can you watch three games? Not very closely.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:14 PM
They certainly will. National game.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:14 PM

October 27th, 2011 at 12:14 PM

October 27th, 2011 at 12:16 PM
Yep. All of this. Having ticket isn’t really about watching 8 games at once, Its about being able to watch any of the 8 games you want. So you are not stuck watching the Cardinals get pasted by Baltimore.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:17 PM
My mom gave me her DirecTV password and now I can watch a game that isnt on that I want to watch on the IPod. Pretty cool.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:17 PM
Living in Southern California is part of the reason I probably don’t get into the NFL as much, no dog in the fight, that being said I still prefer the college game. To me they are more exciting, there is more emotion and rivalry. Been to many NFL games (49ers, Raiders, Rams, Chargers) and none of them compare to seeing a game in Lincoln…
October 27th, 2011 at 12:17 PM
I wouldn’t do it without help. But Sunday’s are also my wife’s day to get out and do whatever the hell she pleases, the two kids stay home and bring chaos into our football watching.

But Clay, I can’t argue with your Big Ten take..it’s the worst I’ve seen the Big Ten in my lifetime.
your original argument was that the quality of play was lousy, but you somehow veered off course here, and are down to game availability, and spacing.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:18 PM
That sounds horrific.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:18 PM
oh sweet. I have the Time Warner cable app and can watch selected channels on there so i could have both games on at once if I wanted. This week I’ll be in a car for 9 hours on Sunday so i’ll only get whatever is on the radio. Ugh
October 27th, 2011 at 12:18 PM
I personally enjoy watching pro over college because the NFL is more talented. That and the fact that I’m in Big 10 country which is playing some of the worst college football in the history of the sport.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:18 PM
Sunday Ticket costs about $24 a week. I’m sure you spend more that at the bar. And if you don’t, the owner probably doesn’t really want you there.

It probably would be, except I have a buddy who brings his wife, who may be the nicest person I’ve ever met and also possibly insane, and who just plays with the 3 kids that are there all afternoon.
She’s getting a nice Christmas gift.

Based on her admitted frugality, I would guess she spends less than 24 bucks a week at the bar.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:24 PM
That and the fact that I’m in Big 10 country which is playing some of the worst college football in the history of the sport.
I can agree with this, I was so stoked when Nebraska went to the B1G, knowing I wouldn’t have to pay-per-view over 1/2 the games, but it has definitely been a shitfest with Nebraska making sure to provide their contribution.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:24 PM
There are good teams in both college and pro football. I prefer pro because there’s a lot less gimmicks, and the uniforms generally aren’t as disgusting.

Point taken. There were definitely no gimmicks in that Seattle/Cleveland game Sunday….or on Monday night
October 27th, 2011 at 12:29 PM
Agree that the NFL is much less innovative.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:30 PM
Sorry I couldn’t pen a blog for you here at work so that my arguments were all confined to one space. But my argument for college football saturdays has never been about the football being better. But the NFL apologists say it so I was refuting it based on what we’re seeing this year.
College saturday’s are better (IMO) b/c there’s more games, better intrigue, better atmospheres, better rivalries, games that indisputably mean more (so much more on the line)
October 27th, 2011 at 12:31 PM
I can’t wait for the traditional Syracuse-Louisville matchup this weekend…
October 27th, 2011 at 12:32 PM
Don’t get me wrong, I will still post up all day on Sunday and watch the NFL
October 27th, 2011 at 12:32 PM
bullshit there weren’t gimmicks…on one play, the browns ran outside the tackles. and seattle had a decoy end around (it was still a dive).
i was taken aback by the creativity.

I’ll take Sundays. Thanks. Pleasure speaking to you, as always.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:33 PM
I will too. But as far as getting pumped to get out of bed and watch football, Saturdays have always been that way for me. But I do root for a traditional power, I can completely understand that someone in Boise wouldn’t feel that way.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:33 PM
How the fuck is it possible to go to bar and watch football and spend under $24? I can’t get out of my local watering hole on a Tuesday afternoon for under $20.

The NFL has to approve uniform changes years ahead of time. I don’t think Nike is going to do much of anything to them if only because the NFL won’t let them.

If only they’d incorporate the offense where it looks like the ball is going to be snapped but then they stop and everyone looks over to the sideline every single down that appears to be all the rage these days
October 27th, 2011 at 12:39 PM
It’s not like the college game where coaches can really do wacky things (that most of you guys complain about), but you can watch any NFL game and see some creativity and coaches making adjustments (or failing to).
You want creative play design, watch an Eagles game. I won’t guarantee you it will always be intelligent play design, though.
Loved when the Patriots went no huddle against Rob Ryan’s defense, changed the game.

Wha? The reason they do the signalling from the sideline is that the offense lines up in a formation, and then decides the final play based on the defensive look opposite them. The final play comes from the sideline after the coach has seen the defensive formation…it’s not because players forgot to study.
October 27th, 2011 at 12:47 PM
I can understand if the QB looks over but when I see 5 or 6 guys on Oregon or Auburn looking over, it just seems stupid.
/wish college QBs had the inhelmet radio
October 27th, 2011 at 12:47 PM
Also, it’s just apparent that most college QBs aren’t competent or trustworthy enough to run the offense and call audibles at the line.

They all have to look because it’s more efficient for everyone to get the play simultaneously than it is for the QB, to set up in formation, see the defensive look, get the final play call and routes from the sideline and then run to each individual player to tell them what they are doing.
I agree it looks stupid, but it’s done for a very specific purpose.
