Oh, if they lose to the Cowgirls out of the bye, then the fire Andy Reid train will be coming off the tracks.

Just back from a meeting.

The Eagles win might have made some folks happy, but a loss to Dallas coming out of the bye will drive Eagles fans completely insane. We are conditioned to use Dallas as a measuring stick on how the team is doing and any loss to Dallas is considered a mortal sin.

Fat Andy has been around long enough and knows this. I’d be stunned if they drop that game.

Look, if the league goes to 17 games, you could take that odd game and put it abroad. If the league stays at 16, just alternate every year as a “home team” for each franchise. The league ought to play games in: Mexico City, Tokyo, Madrid, Rome, Toronto, Vancouver, Buenos Aires, etc. Those soccer stadiums would come in handy. Grow the global market, etc.
