Without LaMichael James, Can Oregon Beat Arizona St.?
As a freshman against Arizona State, Oregon’s LaMichael James rushed 22 times for 150 yards and three scores. James was significantly less impressive last year in Tempe as a sophomore: 22 carries, 68 yards and a touchdown. You take away this 40-yard sprint and he was completely ineffective.
The Ducks won both games. With James out tonight (elbow), can Kenjon Barner and freshman De’Anthony Thomas be as effective?
Oregon has won 19 in a row at home. Chip Kelly has never lost in Autzen. The line for this one has hovered between 14-17 all week, which seems high since the Ducks haven’t faced an offense this good in 2011, and Arizona, which is dreadful, scored 31 on Oregon.
I’m tempted to take the Sun Devils in an upset, but I’ll ride with the Ducks: 37-30.

And Barber fumbles on his FIRST carry. Brutal.
October 15th, 2011 at 10:34 PM
Wow, that’s an NFL throw. TD Sun Devils.
7-0 ASU
October 15th, 2011 at 10:38 PM
You have any action in this game TBL?
October 15th, 2011 at 10:39 PM

October 15th, 2011 at 10:40 PM
negative, Larry. that’s what i’ll probably pass out soon and not sweat it.
you?
October 15th, 2011 at 10:42 PM
damn, rangers, save some of that for the WS
October 15th, 2011 at 10:43 PM
Don’t watch enough CFB to pick games any more than a guess other than overloading on SC -3 on Thurs. Lots of NFL action, though.
Just saw you sweating on a lot of obscure games earlier today on twitter (Navy-Rutgers)…only reason I asked.

Burfict with a late hit? No way!
October 15th, 2011 at 10:49 PM
Wouldnt you commit stupid fouls if your name was Vontaze?
October 15th, 2011 at 10:55 PM
Sucks that the Rangers won’t have home field advantage versus inferior NL champ, fucking all star game
October 15th, 2011 at 10:56 PM
larry i would commit stupid fouls to strike fear into the heart of ducks
or just to hear that quack!
October 15th, 2011 at 10:59 PM
tj, it won’t matter when they win in 4/5
October 15th, 2011 at 11:01 PM
If Brewers end up winning, Milwaukee and Texas finished 96-66.
October 15th, 2011 at 11:01 PM
what’s cool about a young blast is that it’s not his game, and especaally with this score. that ball went 430 feet just because he put a nice easy swing on a fastball
October 15th, 2011 at 11:03 PM
Yea, that’s my guess too.

October 15th, 2011 at 11:08 PM
Nelson cruz now with record for most HR and RBI in a series. Locked in.
October 15th, 2011 at 11:08 PM
need it
that’s trouble TBL. doesn;t fsv pay you?
October 15th, 2011 at 11:22 PM
Oh, that’s my bad. Forget records or that stupid ASG, it’s what team is better in your mind that should get home field.
October 15th, 2011 at 11:23 PM
Totally bullshit roughing call against ASU gives Oregon the score.
October 15th, 2011 at 11:24 PM
No chief, im just saying texas is better. Nothing more. Simmer
October 15th, 2011 at 11:27 PM
Glad I’m following the ALCS game at home and didn’t go out. McKinney’s gonna be nuts when this game ends. And I’m still not recovered from Red River weekend.
October 15th, 2011 at 11:32 PM
Another late hit byBurfict. ASU is screwing the pooch right now.
October 16th, 2011 at 12:45 AM
ASU got hosed on the review. Should’ve been ASU’s ball based on an outstanding individual effort by the ASU defensive player, instead Oregon keeps the ball and scores two plays later.
October 16th, 2011 at 12:47 AM
Does Herbstreit look at the game live? This dude just spews whatever regarding live action so he can return to whatever agenda he’s trying to push at the moment.
October 16th, 2011 at 12:50 AM
ASU’s been screwed more times tonight than my neighbors goat.
October 16th, 2011 at 12:55 AM
And Herbstreit said earlier the refs are xalling a great game…
