Trent Richardson’s Touchdown Run Against Ole Miss is His Heisman Moment
Trent Richardson dodged three Ole Miss tackles in the backfield, and then raced 76 yards for a score. But around the 20 yard-line, Richardson got cornered. While waiting for blockers, Richardson hit a Rebels’ DB with the stutter-step – it was like a Tyreke Evans crossover – and the defender fell to the ground. I’ll refrain from mentioning the defender by name because I feel bad for him. It’s got to be the filthiest move by a running back this season.
Richardson finished the game with 198 yards and four TDs.
This play wasn’t relevant to the outcome (Bama rolled, 52-7), and it wasn’t on a big stage (ESPN2), but the incredible footwork reminded me of Cam Newton’s touchdown run against LSU last year.

I thought Andrew Luck was winning it?

The guy who was faked out for the Ole Miss Rebels (not Bulldogs) was freshman DB Senquez Golson, who opted at the last moment before the season to play football for Ole Miss instead of baseball in the Boston Red Sox organization.

Until stanford loses, luck is in top 3.

I think the deck is stacked against Luck, just because he’ll have played 2 or 3 televised games the entire season. He needs to be flawless in those games.

If Richardson does 1/2 this to LSU it’s a lock.

Rebels not Bulldogs you numbskull. No Conference USA much less Sun Belt team compares to the worst SEC team. Heisman will go to the best player on the best team which is who the Heisman goes to lately: Cam/Auburn, Ingram/Bama, Tebow/Fla, etc… make room for Trent Richardson from Alabama! RTR!!!

Ole Miss Bulldogs? Conference expansion has me confused.

how is anyone supposed to view this site as anything other than “just another blog” when you’re confusing the Bulldogs and Rebels?
i know both suck, but it’s not exactly two Conference USA teams.
boo this man.

I’ll refrain from mentioning the defender by name because I feel bad for him.
or because you don’t know it, and when you googled Ole Miss Bulldogs Roster, your google didn’t return any results.

Actually if the SEC is stuck at 13, retracting Ole Miss and MSU into a single team isn’t crazy.
