If you average the major projection system, only 7 guys were expected to hit more than 32.5 homers. With a lower scoring environment this year, expect that number to go down.

Next year, 10-12 guys will probably fluke to 30+ homers. But that’s not the same as projecting a guy to hit 30+.

Olney said they would listen to offers on Votto, but aren’t committed to doing anything. I think they’re seeing their options since they have Alonso who is a 1B. In addition, they don’t have much payroll flexibility.
