The line didn’t go from 17 to 14.5 on Saturday. At Bookmaker, the most important offshore book, it went from 16.5 on Thursday, to 16 on Friday, to 15 on Saturday. The other offshores were similar. Those are small line moves that don’t mean much.

I also don’t buy that SC will crumble now like so many people think. Shaw and Garcia are essentially the same average to above average (and back to below-average) QB. They’ll lose 1-2 more games this year just as they would with Garcia at QB.
