Obviously, as a longtime fan I’ve been watching the transformation of the Florida Marlins to Miami Marlins with great interest. The new stadium, logo and colors… This all affects me personally.

Now there’s this thing. It originated on the Facebook page of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs. It is apparently real and it will apparently be in the bleachers at the new Marlins stadium. This monstrosity will go into motion whenever the Marlins hit a home run.

It… is… so… flamboyant.

I would think it were a practical joke, except it is so over the top that you would never design this hoping to fool someone because no one could possibly look at this thing and think it was a real thing.
