Nyjer Morgan Drives In Series Winning Run, Celebrates With Televised F-Bombs
The Brewers have moved on to the NLCS. Nyjer Morgan is your hero – and your most memorable postgame interview. For those of you at work or unable to see the video, I’ll transcribe Morgan’s words below.
“FUUUCK YEEAH! FUCK YEAH!”
On a scale of Tyler Perry to Frank Caliendo, this is far from the most offensive thing TBS has ever put on the air.
Update: Morgan also got an f-bomb on the radio with this exchange via @ChadReuter:
T-Plush to Bob Uecker through headphones on radio post-game: “You hear me, bro? F**kin’ A!!” Uecker: “I hear ya, ‘bro’”
I hear you too, bro.

Wait, so which one is high and which is low? Your scale is confusing.
October 7th, 2011 at 9:29 PM
It’s a sliding scale of injustice and bad television.
October 7th, 2011 at 9:32 PM
He dropped an F-bomb in the background, then the reporter stuck the mic in his face and asked for his reaction. What, precisely, were they expecting?
October 7th, 2011 at 9:44 PM
That he was the real life embodiment of the version of Lil’ John Chappelle played

Greatest thing TBS has ever aired: Bill Tush
Worst thing: “Mama’s Family”

God, that sideline reporter is horrible, even by sideline reporter standards. Ugh.

Why does Dick Stockton think that the word ‘error’ doesn’t have an ‘r’ on the end of it? ERA ERA ERA
October 7th, 2011 at 10:56 PM
Never even noticed it Cracker. If there is another error I am going to listen for it.
October 7th, 2011 at 10:59 PM
It scares me that you know 3 WNBA players.
October 7th, 2011 at 11:01 PM
Blow this offense up, it fucking sucks. Thanks RAJ, instead of Pujols/Fielder we’re stuck with Howard and his awfulness. Thanks.
October 7th, 2011 at 11:01 PM
I’m boycotting TBS ever since they took SBTB off the air. A true crime against humanity. Wont somebody think of the children.
October 7th, 2011 at 11:02 PM
Errah. Dick Stockton is pretty horrible nowadays.
October 7th, 2011 at 11:03 PM
I guess I’ll be the one to say it: Fuck Saved By The Bell. I grew up in that era. Good riddance!

3 best teams in baseball in July and August; 1 choked the whole last month, and the other 2 didn’t hit and are out in 1st round.

Congrats Cards, had a hell of a run in Sept/Oct.
/fuck you Howard and offense
///goes off to drink a lot more
October 7th, 2011 at 11:09 PM
It scares me too. But this is what happens when youre stuck with the Vikings, Twins, Wild, Timberwolves and all the U of M teams.
And Dick Stockton should never EVER call baseball.
October 7th, 2011 at 11:11 PM
Wouldn’t be surprised if Howard tore his achilles.
October 7th, 2011 at 11:13 PM
Happy Phillies losing night everybody! The air is crisp and the moon is bright on this glorious evening.
/this morning’d
//shit stings, doesn’t it?
///at least the yankees scored
October 7th, 2011 at 11:14 PM
He provides comic relief. He called Pujols “Ryan Pujols” during game 2 and I swear he said Arthur Pence there in the 9th
October 7th, 2011 at 11:14 PM
Milwaukee vs St Louis & Texas vs Detroit…Flyover country says “FACK YOU!” to the coasts.
October 7th, 2011 at 11:15 PM
At the Cards can get it done in PRIME TIME, eh Yankees?
/pours gasoline on smoldering ashes
October 7th, 2011 at 11:16 PM
Can we all just agree right now to not partake in any asinine ratings discussion or even click on the ratings posts? Consider it the same as how the Simpsons had to get rid of those ad-monsters. “Just don’t look! Just don’t look!”
October 7th, 2011 at 11:17 PM
BAN HIM! BAN HIM NOW!
October 7th, 2011 at 11:18 PM
Too late..if you read TBL’s twitter
October 7th, 2011 at 11:19 PM
I’ll take it…deserve it after all.

I don’t follow him, he call Ryan Howard a limey cocksucker yet?
October 7th, 2011 at 11:20 PM
Too late..if you read TBL’s twitter
Look if it doesn’t happen in NYC/East Coast, it just doesn’t matter. DEMOGRAPHICS!!!
October 7th, 2011 at 11:23 PM
@thebiglead: “Detroit vs Texas, St Louis vs Milwaukee? East coast shut out of the Final Four. Interested to see if Sportscenter leads w/ MLB Sunday/monday”
and this bandwagon media-ratings driven gem
@thebiglead: “Bud Selig needs to push for a 7-game 1st round series. Cant have yanks/phils getting bounced like this. If I watch any more MLB, go Brewers?”
Seriously, TBL? Sorry you can’t handle the major market teams getting bounced. You know who says that? People who don’t care about the sport. They just care about the dollar and the rating. Thank goodness it’s Friday. We don’t have to hear Cowherd rant and rave about how HORRIBLE it is that NY, Philly, and Boston aren’t in the playoffs anymore so nobody will watch it. Fuck that mentality. It’s all bullshit
October 7th, 2011 at 11:25 PM
Seriously, TBL?
I think he’s semi-serious (he’s also trying to get hits).
Don’t take it seriously.
October 7th, 2011 at 11:26 PM
Stop following him, you only give trolls power by paying attention
October 7th, 2011 at 11:26 PM
hey TBL, you don’t want the Phillies or Yankees getting bounced this early? Too damn bad. Perhaps they should have rosters built for the postseason and not the regular season. That’s why they play the game. For those of us who actually care about baseball, we want to see good baseball regardless of who is playing. If you don’t want to watch non-east coast teams, fine. Just don’t keep complaining that the idealistic way you would want it to happen isn’t happening
October 7th, 2011 at 11:27 PM
i don’t follow him..i just go to various people’s accounts via links (dont have a twitter at the moment)
October 7th, 2011 at 11:33 PM
What a game. I could care less about either of those two teams, but God damn… 1-0 in a deciding game? Doesn’t get better than that.
Cheers to the pride of Bedford, NH, Chris Carpenter.
October 7th, 2011 at 11:36 PM
Great game. Well pitched, great D. Both games were spectacular to watch. Will be fun to watch different teams, excluding Texas, in the Championship Series.
October 7th, 2011 at 11:41 PM
First round 7 game series aren’t going to happen, especially if they add more teams to playoffs. If ratings have sucked what will the extra games do, just ensure that teams the people who want a 7 game 1st round get in? There are other fans out there besides Sox, Spankees, and Phills fans. It was rocking at the Brewers v. Diamondbacks game and it was awesome to watch.

What is the #1 league in America? The NFL. Where did the last 3 champions come from? Green Bay, New Orleans, Pittsburgh.
If the NFL followed the demands that are being spewed right now for MLB, those stories would not happen. It’d be Giants, Cowboys, Jets and Pats ruling the NFL.
So we love great stories when they come out of the NFL but we resent when those stories in sports like MLB or NBA?
October 7th, 2011 at 11:46 PM
the yankees should just get a bye into the world series
October 7th, 2011 at 11:50 PM
Agree Fredo. Just don’t understand why people don’t want to see how this plays out. The ending to the season was temendous, Division Series followed that up with some great baseball and I look forward to seeing how this goes.
October 7th, 2011 at 11:54 PM
i agree with full point
October 7th, 2011 at 11:56 PM
i agree with full point
Maybe they should play the playoffs in September and the Spanks 4,5,6 hitters will actually do what they are paid to do, hit.

I am enjoying Maker’s Mark. Great stuff.
October 8th, 2011 at 12:58 AM
GO BREWERS!!!!
October 8th, 2011 at 3:52 AM
Yeah, I echo all the sentiment about TBL ranting about ratings. Who cares? The games have been terrific for two weeks now. I unfollowed TBL on twitter yesterday, and if TBL keeps up with post about ratings, I may stop reading this website all together.
October 8th, 2011 at 10:31 AM
Yes if people would just stop paying attention to him, then he would shutup. Anyone that cares more about ratings than the game itself isn’t a sports fan.
October 8th, 2011 at 11:04 AM
Different sports. NBA is star-driven, MLB is Yankees-driven, NFL is gambling-driven. You can bet on Saints-Colts as easily as you can bet on Giants-Patriots.
October 8th, 2011 at 6:13 PM
Two of those 3 teams have a significant national following. The third has a strong regional following and was part of a bigger story. Let the NFL have a couple of Jacksonville, Tampa Bay Super Bowls and get back to me.
