Well done Geez on the Canucks. I think you’ve hit all the key points. I honestly think Luongo will be fine, though I wouldn’t be surprised if Schneider gets even more work this year. And that includes double duty in th playoffs.

And well done on your Flames preview. I like yours better than the one in the actual post!

Really hoping Bettman gets it right and sends the CBJ to the East.

Detroit is further east than Columbus, isn’t it? I think it makes sense to move an expansion team to the east instead of an original six (which would leave the Blackhawks all alone in the West), but from a profitability stand point I think moving the Red Wings is the better deal.

Absolutely. Who wouldn’t want to beat up on the Leafs? I wouldn’t miss many of the rivalries. Hopefully when realignment occurs, a more balanced schedule will be put into effect.
