Curtis Granderson’s Incredible Diving Catch
Curtis Granderson may have snuffed the Tigers’ final chance at a rally tonight. With two outs and a runner on first, Granderson robbed Jhonny Peralta with a diving catch to end the inning. There’s no way to know if the Tigers would have scored, but we do know the Yankees poured it on a few innings later. In fact, the beating goes on while I write this.

2 sick catches by the Grandyman tonight.
Saved Burnett’s ass, not to mention the Yanks in the process.

Wouldn’t have had to dive if he was running at full speed at the start

This catch was great, however, I do not want to hear about the one in the first inning. Horribly misplayed.
Wonder what Burnett’s FIP was last night?
