Indeed. I don’t remember the full story as to why they changed names. I think it was because NASA was building up a huge presence in the Houston area (Johnson Space Center is just south of the city) and they wanted to embrace Houston’s future rather than it’s past. But obviously from the groundbreaking you can see that they were still intending to call the team the Colt .45s.

I haven’t followed the case too closely…do they definitively have the attackers in custody? If not, it would be nice if this guy remembered anything about the attack…but that seems unlikely.

The Astrodome was only renamed the Astrodome because the Astros moved into it. Not vice versa. It was originally going to be called the Harris County Domed Stadium.

All I want to know is: do they sell chili, and does it have beans?
