I think the Heisenberg part of Walter has been totally cowed by reality, which is why he seems so glum all the time. Whether it’s getting punked by Mike or stared down by Gus or ass-kicked by Jesse, Walter always comes up short now, and he knows it.

You can get a Vietnamese live in Nanny here for $1000 a month. Seems like a better deal than daycare, especially if you can get her to do some cooking/cleaning (even just a little).

I wish all childcare centers had this policy, my grandmother would kill me if I thought about sending my kid to school or daycare while he was sick.

I’m still very skeptical. Asking a lot of JVR and Giroux to replace the minutes Richards and Carter were playing. Plus their backend is aging (Timonen & Pronger) with not much in the way of prospects.

Yep. More one on one time, and the operator won’t let a sick kid get dropped off. Too many parents out there will give a kid Advil, & drop them off. No fever = no sickness, right?

So how was that shotgun wedding?

I only know a couple of guys who have had kids who haven’t had a dramatic life change. They are guys who married completely submissive wives who, before the kid, spent all their time work, golfing, and at the bar and after the kid still do the same while the wife stays at home with them basically all week.

I really have no idea if that works long-term or if it’s “right”, but that’s not how my life works.
