Well done, TBL, well done.

Great work on the roundup pic. It’s nice to finally see a real woman up there.

Fantastic pic TBL.
Also NO has some great restaurants I want to try one of these days. Among my cities I want to go to for dining, it would among my top 3 with San Fran and Chicago.

isn’t this the guy that created the White Mike Vick Experience?
September 16th, 2011 at 8:48 AM
Speaking of recent Big East doormats, I doubt anyone has noticed that Providence’s 2012 recruiting class is now ranked #2 by Rivals. Eddie Cooley is making some waves.

I was called a kike by some Hazel Park trailer trash during a football game I played in. the ironic thing is that i’m not Jewish.
September 16th, 2011 at 8:51 AM
whoever recommended perry van winkle bourbon yesterday, good call. i had a glass of 20yr last night and it was by far the best bourbon i’ve ever had.

did you just call me a nide? you fucking asshole. i am not a nest of pheasants.

Signs left near the bodies declared the pair, both apparently in their early 20s, were killed for posting denouncements of drug cartel activities on a social network.
wtf.
And by that, I mean, who the hell pokes the chest one of the most violent groups of people on the planet and then hangs out to see what will happen next.

Sure did.
Morning spence. Pre-tay, pre-tay interesting game we have on tap for tomorrow.
September 16th, 2011 at 8:58 AM
When I woke up this morning and knew at some point today I’d see a pig holding a football shaped grenade… Well, I knew it was going to be a good day. Fridays in the fall just feel better knowing there’s 48 hours of gridiron ahead.

Suiting in the Memphis airport. This place is straight out of the 70′s and smells like cigarettes.

In other news, water is wet.
Hmmmm…wonder what Gus’s next move will be?

I’d be worried about throwing my arm down while i was spinning so fast. Don’t want to end up Danny Amendola’d, or Andrew Bogut’d. Disclocated elbow seems horrible.

“More than 34,600 people have died in drug-related violence since Mexican President Felipe Calderon announced a crackdown on cartels in December 2006, according to government statistics.”
That’s one hell of a fucking statistic. How long is a president’s term in Mexico?
September 16th, 2011 at 9:02 AM
I visited NOLA during Jazz fest one year. I’m not sure what was a bigger possibility: needing alcohol rehab or gaining 25 lbs.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:02 AM
How long is a president’s term in Mexico?
for life. So maybe a couple more weeks.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:02 AM
As long as it’s for nothing of value. We could do the classic name swap.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:03 AM
Can we just go ahead and make the Daily Roundup pic the Daily Kelly Brook pic?
September 16th, 2011 at 9:04 AM
That was awesome.
Speaking of awesome, am I the only one here that watched Always Sunny last night?
September 16th, 2011 at 9:05 AM
howabout an avatar change…buckeyes win, your avatar for a month has to be a closeup of mcgahee’s knee being destroyed. canes win, i’ll change mine to something equally painful.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:06 AM
LSUs defense is outstanding. They have the best secondary in football and that freshman DT looks like a future top-10 pick. The Alabama-LSU game is going to be the most physical game of the year.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:06 AM
You know that’s not the case!
September 16th, 2011 at 9:06 AM
i watched always sunny…i left underwhelmed.

I can’t bet on college football or I gets the fired.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:08 AM
No – I watched it. Was kind of disappointed
September 16th, 2011 at 9:09 AM
oh no, the limo scene was my favorite one. i lost it when charlie puked [SPOILER ALERT] blood all over that chick. the rest wasn’t really doing it for me though. fat mac is a novelty laugh, not comedy.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:09 AM
Deal spence. I have to ponder what your avatar would have to be for a minute. You have obviously chosen wisely.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:10 AM
A smiling Lydell Ross.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:10 AM
It would be awesome if I hadn’t sat through that shit show.
Wow, I thought it was one of the funnier episodes in the last 3 seasons. I thought Archer was the shitshow last night.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:10 AM
i thought archer was pretty good.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:11 AM
I went to almost a hundred restaurants in NYC (between 4 years of college, and 2 years of going there to visit my ex while she was in NYU), I know it’s the best. However, I want to try Chi and San Fran and NO.
dewar – was that you who tweeted me this morning, if so, no big deal dude, next time. Great game though to be at.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:12 AM
Brayden Schenn got $18M from Toronto? What exactly are they paying him for?
September 16th, 2011 at 9:12 AM
Probably says more about the last 3 seasons than anything.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:12 AM
I enjoyed a bearded Archer banging the chick on her honeymoon…other than that, I found it very meh.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:13 AM
And by Brayden I of course meant Luke. That was a mishap.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:14 AM
Yeah, that was me. I didn’t think to hit you up over twitter until after the game….probably should have thought of that earlier in the day.
Oh, and I think Jose Lopez closed his eyes when he swung and hit that homer. That was ridiculous.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:14 AM
Thank youwa.
Howard Stern was making fun of Paris when he said that, but the K sisters do that shit too.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:14 AM
what’s the most racist thing that’s ever happened to you?
I got called a sand n***er in HS. Granted kids stay stupid shit in HS, but that one was pretty bad.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:14 AM
Perhaps. One thing that is dragging the show down is that Frank has gotten more and more ridiculous…basically a caricature of a caricature.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:14 AM
there’s an easy way to settle this…pistols. noon.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:14 AM

September 16th, 2011 at 9:16 AM
That would have been a good trick.
Flyers rookie game was pretty good for 2 periods. The Caps have a Russian d-man (Orlov) that is pretty good. And Phil Kessel’s little brother played a pretty good game for the Flyers (Blake Kessel).
September 16th, 2011 at 9:16 AM
I have Cliff in my main fantasy league and would’ve finally passed my step dad to get into 5th place. Losing the CG-SHO was the reason why I texted my buddy, “I hate fantasy baseball so much right now”.
But yeah, no biggie. I’ll be down there again on Saturday with my wife and I actually have seats.

September 16th, 2011 at 9:17 AM

September 16th, 2011 at 9:18 AM
Congrats urinal mint, at least you have nine months of a Designated Driver now…
September 16th, 2011 at 9:18 AM
Russian Machine Never Breaks has been talking about Orlov all summer. Apparently he doesn’t speak a lick of English and it’s an issue now. They say the kid’s got tons of talent though. With him and Carlson, Caps have a nice young D pair there for the future.
I still think they should let Green walk or trade him.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:18 AM
Have fun….I’m taking my kid to see Thomas the Train in Lancaster on Saturday.
That means I’m skipping the PSU – Temple game at the Linc. That game is a no win scenario for me. PSU wins, they were supposed to. Temple pulls the upset and I gotta hear about it.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:18 AM
cleet, that was hilarious.
I dvr’d Always Sunny. got the parents in town this weekend, didn’t figure that would be their cup ‘o tea so I am waiting until Sunday to watch.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:18 AM
Brayden Schenn got $18M from Toronto? What exactly are they paying him for?
Luke Schenn. $3.5M per year for him is a great contract for the Leafs.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:19 AM

September 16th, 2011 at 9:19 AM

Congrats to Urinal Mint on the kid but does anyone else feel kinda weird when people reveal personal information on here that should normally be saved for real friends and family first?
September 16th, 2011 at 9:24 AM
cleet…no dice, won’t be good avatar material cuz it’d be too small. what about boeckman getting pummelled by LSU? or troy smith getting chased by derrick harvey?
September 16th, 2011 at 9:25 AM
We miscarried last Thanksgiving Day, so I dunno. Does that count? This would be the first to make it through the tunnel for gameday.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:26 AM
I feel a lot better telling faceless apparitions about this than people I know. I don’t want them to know yet because it will wreck conversation when we’re hanging out. I’m not ready to go baby-centric yet.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:26 AM
I’d still know what it is even if it’s too small. I guess I’ll try to find another one. I really don’t see how Miami wins this game. I mean fuck, Jacory Harris is our QB, he makes Pryor look like Unitas.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:26 AM
I shouldn’t have laughed, but I did.

LSUs defense is outstanding. They have the best secondary in football and that freshman DT looks like a future top-10 pick. The Alabama-LSU game is going to be the most physical game of the year.
If their offense can score 20 pts a game they could go un-defeated.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:29 AM
Well, I grew up in NH…so I guess watching a Spike Lee joint?
September 16th, 2011 at 9:29 AM
Hell yeah. Abrams and Co. have breathed refreshing life into those flicks.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:30 AM
A pregnancy is a crazy thing. The dissemination of that info, I have found, is done carefully, because once you tell folks that a baby is on the way, there are weird expectations. I only vaguely felt this, but it really weighed on my son’s mom. We didn’t tell anyone until like, 3 months into the pregnancy.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:30 AM
Spencer, he told you what he wanted your avatar to be if you lose the bet. You don’t get to negotiate. TBL Betting 101, dude.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:32 AM
It’s a big IF people. Jacory Harris FFS!
September 16th, 2011 at 9:32 AM
the only thing i have against lydell ross is that he was HORRIBLE at football. he was one of those guys who you kept waiting for to be good, and when he never got good, it was really aggravating.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:32 AM
Good rule of thumb is to wait until after the first trimester to tell people, especially if there’s already been a miscarriage.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:33 AM
I agree. If Lee limits himself to 1 INT or less each game they will be tough to beat. I still think Bama is better, but that game is going to be epic. It must be nice to have a defense like those two teams.

September 16th, 2011 at 9:34 AM
I’m worried this new one is going to suck because Abrams has been putting off finishing the script for awhile and now is being rushed to start filming. Story line always suffers in those instances.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:35 AM

September 16th, 2011 at 9:37 AM
We miscarried last Thanksgiving Day, so I dunno. Does that count?
We’ve had two miscarriages. Sucks for awhile, but it isn’t liked we named the messed up mass of cells.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:38 AM
Probably depends on the circumstances of the conception.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:38 AM
I wouldn’t worry too much. It’s the same writing staff and they’ve had something for a while. They’ve just been waiting for Abrams to say he’d direct. He won’t have much influence on the script. But I think he’ll be alright. He’s done with Super 8 and MI4. This is his priority.
Link?
September 16th, 2011 at 9:39 AM
eh, not gonna happen.
needs to go to HBO or Showtime for proper story telling. the plan they had was so crappy, locking down big stars for it was impossible.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:40 AM
The first 4 or 5 links give you a good timeline.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:41 AM
when Arkansas beats bammer next week, the day after Thanksgiving is going to be a glorious day of football.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:41 AM
I can’t say either way, but I’ve already caught myself looking at things differently and I don’t even know the sex of our baby yet. It’s weird. I’m sure it changes a lot, but I suspect the biggest initial change is perspective.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:41 AM
Anyone else surprised New England is favored by 7 points on Sunday?
September 16th, 2011 at 9:41 AM
Okie State, never failing to disappoint.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:42 AM
You think ARK is walking into Tuscaloosa and beating the Tide? That’d be one hell of a win.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:42 AM
Thanks, St. Bear. As wilhelm said, the proper way to tell this story isn’t over three huge movies mixed with a few random TV shows. A mini-series or short hour-long episodic series should do it. Kind of like Game of Thrones.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:43 AM
Not at all. I’m no gambling authority, but NE looked pretty unstoppable and with this new pistol type offense they’re using, it’ll end up being a long day for the SD Def. I’m hoping that SD uses Mathews a lot to control possession (and provide fantasy value to me…)
September 16th, 2011 at 9:43 AM
With all due respect, fuck that shit. It changes EVERYTHING about your life.
I have to agree it does, but at the same time its probably one of the best things about my life.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:44 AM
It is as much of an indictment of the AFC West and the travel from the West Coast team more than it is a favorable statement on New England.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:44 AM
Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure perspective changes big time. But to say it doesn’t “change your life” is wrong. You’re up at all hours of the night, you’re working extra to pay for diapers or formula, you’re not going out on weekends with your friends, you give up watching TV shows or sporting events, etc, etc etc. Perspective and activities change.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:44 AM
Eakin looked good for the Caps as well. Scary part is the Caps 2 best prospects(Holtby and Kuznetzov) didn’t even play.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:45 AM
And congrats, Parrish.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:45 AM
New England gave up 300+ yards to Chad Henne. Phil Rivers might throw for 700.

exactly. there’s so many flashbacks and time changes you need something that can explain what’s going on.
also, it’s such a big risk for NBC to take on 2-3 seasons of a show that’s very limited in fan base. cancelling at any time before the run would ruin the whole project, and with the money invested in the big stars they would have to take a big hit to the budget to keep it going.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:46 AM
I’m just sick of different rumours being floated every 6-12 months. Shit or get off the pot.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:46 AM
416 to be exact. Bananas.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:46 AM
Kuznetzov
They might have a hard time convincing him to leave the KHL.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:47 AM
That’s something I didn’t really consider. At least it’s an afternoon game though. If it was a 1:00 pm game, I’d be more inclined to give travel a few points in the line.
Maybe I’ll just steer clear of that one.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:47 AM
Well said, though it’s not so much working extra for diapers as it is working extra to pay for the OBSCENE COST OF DAYCARE!!
September 16th, 2011 at 9:47 AM
It’s a risk, but with the success of sci-fi fantasies like Lost and Game of Thrones, I think it’s not as far fetched as it was a couple years ago.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:47 AM
And let’s be honest – NBC right now licks sweaty, blistered balls when it comes to TV series. Everything new they bring to the air flops because of poor writing and usually even worse marketing.
I’m on board with this.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:47 AM
Eakin did look good. They had another guy (Galiev maybe) who was impressive. I thought the Caps rookies played fast and were a step ahead of the Flyers rookies in the 1st period, but I think that had as much to do with the Flyers rookies looking up and seeing 11,000 people at a scrimmage .
September 16th, 2011 at 9:48 AM
Kuznetzov still says he’s coming over next year but sources say he is waffling a bit.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:48 AM
I’ll take that as well. There will more than likely be over 1100+ yards of total offense.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:48 AM
depends on how good the SD offensive line is, NE was also much more aggressive in going after henne, doing that to Rivers would be suicide. expect more 4-5 man rushes with more elaborate coverage on the receivers.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:48 AM
as much to do with the Flyers
rookies looking up and seeing 11,000 people at a scrimmagehaving a poor pool of prospects./fixed
September 16th, 2011 at 9:48 AM
The afro on this NEB WR is epic.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:49 AM
With all due respect, fuck that shit. It changes EVERYTHING about your life
It makes you a happier person, as pure a joy as there is. It also exponentially shoots up your sense of responsibility, and it just changes your outlook on life as a whole. You’re hypersensitive of your surrounding and the perceived and real dangers that are a part of your instinct to protect your children. The best part is that you’re a teacher to there young, developing minds.
/back to beating up on Notre Dame.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:49 AM
@johndewar: do you expect either Eakin or Sjogren to make the team? I do not. I expect Laich as #3 Center to start.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:49 AM
I hear Casey Anthony owes like $100K, so she’s probably looking for a baby-sitting job.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:49 AM
Oklahoma State cheerleaders in bikinis
Really? That’s top-of-the-line trim in Stillwater?
Sheesh, let ‘em go to the Pac-16

September 16th, 2011 at 9:50 AM
I hear Casey charges 10 grand per car trunk so sge she should make that in no time
September 16th, 2011 at 9:51 AM
do you expect either Eakin or Sjogren to make the team? I do not. I expect Laich as #3 Center to start.
johndewar’s a Flyers fan.
Eakin almost cracked the Caps lineup last year, but with the additions they made this summer I’m not sure there’s enough room for him.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:52 AM
I feel a lot better telling faceless apparitions about this than people I know. I don’t want them to know yet because it will wreck conversation when we’re hanging out. I’m not ready to go baby-centric yet.
Nah, it’s like telling strangers. But since we’ve all communicated before, it’s not as “weird.” Shit, I told you guys I proposed to my wife and got married before telling my own family. (Surprise was a factor, of course.) You can get honest advice from a faceless person.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:53 AM
don’t pee in my cheerio’s Husker. in all honesty I think anything can happen. Hogs are keeping a lot of guys on the shelf this week in preparation for it. I think it’s going to be a defensive showdown, a lot like last game. hopefully Arkansas doesn’t poop the bed like Miss State did though.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:53 AM
Nada, see commment #134. yes, that is the best they have to offer.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:55 AM
Outsourced being a key exception.
/nods at CRM
September 16th, 2011 at 9:56 AM
I’m a Flyers fan and don’t know the Caps lineup real well, but I’d be stunned if Laich was not the #3 center. Before he re-signed in Washington, I wanted the Flyers to take a run at him (before they went after Talbot).
I can’t argue with this. The Flyers could count on Adirondack for almost no help last year. I think it is getting better, though.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:57 AM
What I love about Bama and LSU is they know exactly what they are. They have big OLs and bruising RBs and they always fall back on their strength. I don’t think ARK has the DL to be able to withstand the beating 4 quarters will ask of them. Much like the game last night, I think LSU/Bama will be able to run the ball better in the 3rd and 4th than in the first half.
Last night’s game was just like the Oregon game. In the first half LSU rushed for less than 3 YPC in both games, but in the second the small holes became bigger ones. I love watching power football.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:57 AM
It’s seems like their comedy block on Thursdays has been pretty successful.
I probably should have specified and said “new dramas.”
September 16th, 2011 at 9:58 AM
Signs left near the bodies declared the pair, both apparently in their early 20s, were killed for posting denouncements of drug cartel activities on a social network.
Let this be a lesson to you, Walter Jr.: Do NOT fuck with Gustavo Fring.
Oh, and you might want to think twice abut taking that job he offered you. While the benefits are terrific, the trick is not to get killed. That’s really the key to the benefit program.
September 16th, 2011 at 9:58 AM
I can’t argue with this. The Flyers could count on Adirondack for almost no help last year. I think it is getting better, though.
Hockey Prospectus has their prospect pool at #14, so basically average. Couple nice pieces in Schenn and Couturier at the top, but lacking depth.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:00 AM
The moment Gus kills Walt Jr. is the moment Walt walks into Los Pollos Hermanos and shoots up the place.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:00 AM
Seems a little high to me. I would have guessed 4.5 or 5.
It’s pretty clear the offenses are miles ahead of the defenses right now, but I don’t know that the Pats’ D is a TD better than SD’s. What’s the O/U on the game? That’s the line I’d look at.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:00 AM
Tip #1, do not look at day care centers. In-home is the way to go.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:00 AM
Trent Richardson scares the piss out of me, dude is just so beastly. that being said, Arkansas finally has some size on the DL, and they are pretty experienced. I think the game will come down to whether the Hogs can run the ball, which so far this year they haven’t done real well. big plays are awesome, but they need to be able to eat some clock later in the game.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:02 AM
Tip #1, do not look at day care centers. In-home is the way to go.
Yup. We lucked out and found a great dayhome, $600 a months isn’t unreasonable either.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:03 AM
Last night’s game was just like the Oregon game. In the first half LSU rushed for less than 3 YPC in both games, but in the second the small holes became bigger ones. I love watching power football.
Doesn’t it always seem like LSU never really has one great running back, but at least 2 -3 really good ones with different styles?
September 16th, 2011 at 10:03 AM
This is awesome. Bravo, Colbert.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:03 AM
Sounds about right. Holmgren hit the college market hard (Testwuide, Zolnierczyk, Matt Read, and now Kessel) to make up for all the draft picks they’ve traded away over the years.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:03 AM
With all due respect, fuck that shit. It changes EVERYTHING about your life.
OK.
So how was that shotgun wedding?
September 16th, 2011 at 10:03 AM
As a Caps fan I still like what the Flyers did. They will take a step back this year but will be a Cup contender again starting next year and beyond. Pressure on Caps this year is immense.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:04 AM
Holy shit balls. Where do I sign up?
September 16th, 2011 at 10:05 AM
What?
September 16th, 2011 at 10:06 AM
This is my big issue with Nebraska. They rely on big plays far too much. They need to hit more singles and doubles.
Exactly right, though Ware is going to be a horse in a year or two.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:07 AM
Geez, I bet those eskimos would even accept some fish or whale blubber in lieu of cash.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:08 AM
Alexander Semin’s play will be heavily scrutinized, I think, after the playoffs last year. He can be one of the best if he’s interested in doing so.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:08 AM
All you motherfuckers are gonna pay. You are the ones who are the ball lickers. We are gonna fuck your mothers while you watch and cry like little bitches. Once we get to Tucson and find those facebook fucks who are posting that shit, we’re gonna make ‘em eat our shit, then shit out our shit, then eat their shit which is made up of our shit that we made ‘em eat. Then you’re all you motherfucks are next. Love, Juan y Berto Silencioso.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:08 AM
53.5 is the O/U. I’d would be heavy on the Over.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:08 AM
I still like what the Flyers did. They will take a step back this year but will be a Cup contender again starting next year and beyond.
I’m still very skeptical. Asking a lot of JVR and Giroux to replace the minutes Richards and Carter were playing. Plus their backend is aging (Timonen & Pronger) with not much in the way of prospects.
And then there’s Bryzgalov….
September 16th, 2011 at 10:09 AM
Holy shit balls. Where do I sign up?
Daycare would run me in the range of $1000 – $1200 a month, but the privately run dayhomes are much more reasonable. And frankly, in my opinion, a much better environment for the kids.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:10 AM
He won’t be on the roster after February.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:10 AM
Yep, that’s about what we pay for the 2.5 year-old. Was $10 or $20 a week higher when he was a newborn. I’m more than happy to have to take a couple days off than pay twice as much for a center.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:11 AM
I only know a couple of guys who have had kids who haven’t had a dramatic life change. They are guys who married completely submissive wives who, before the kid, spent all their time work, golfing, and at the bar and after the kid still do the same while the wife stays at home with them basically all week.
I really have no idea if that works long-term or if it’s “right”, but that’s not how my life works.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:11 AM
The moment Gus kills Walt Jr. is the moment Walt walks into Los Pollos Hermanos and shoots up the place.
Never gonna happen. Maybe in season 1 or 2, but Walter getting bitch-slapped by Jesse last week was the final sign that Heisenberg is totally pussified now.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:11 AM
That’s why they will take a step back john. But they got a boatload in return and are trying to change the party atmosphere. Something the Caps need to do with their party boys. As for Semin the guy has 30 pts in 37 playoff games it was the rest of the team besides Ovie that disappeared starting with Backstrom, Green and Laich. And 3rd and 4th lines got dominated hence the overpayment for Ward and additions of Brouwer and Halpern.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:12 AM
We have just started looking at in-home stuff and I think that is where we’re going to go, but $600 a month would be a steal ’round these parts.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:12 AM
The daycare center we bring my son to is cheaper than any in-home that we found, $220/week. Economies of scale, my friends.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:13 AM
Yep. More one on one time, and the operator won’t let a sick kid get dropped off. Too many parents out there will give a kid Advil, & drop them off. No fever = no sickness, right?
September 16th, 2011 at 10:13 AM
Are they just being raised by wolves? Try $500 a week, thats at a center.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:15 AM
When you find one you like, and they have an opening, jump on it right away. Can’t wait around on that
September 16th, 2011 at 10:16 AM
Congrats, Urinal Mint. If you need any burnt orange onesies, just say the word.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:16 AM
But he went there as Walt, not Heisenberg. Perhaps that ass whooping crushes Walt and brings out Heisenberg in more facets of life?
September 16th, 2011 at 10:17 AM
All day. 30-24 is all it would take? Absolutely. I could see 38-34 easily.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:20 AM
I’m more concerned with size down the middle. I think JVR replaces Carter’s goal output with more ice and better players to play with.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:25 AM
Yep. More one on one time, and the operator won’t let a sick kid get dropped off. Too many parents out there will give a kid Advil, & drop them off. No fever = no sickness, right?
I wish all childcare centers had this policy, my grandmother would kill me if I thought about sending my kid to school or daycare while he was sick.
September 16th, 2011 at 10:27 AM
Here’s a terrific look at what’s facing the Caps

You can get a Vietnamese live in Nanny here for $1000 a month. Seems like a better deal than daycare, especially if you can get her to do some cooking/cleaning (even just a little).
September 16th, 2011 at 10:48 AM
up until the last episode i had some ideas where this will go…no i have no idea.
September 16th, 2011 at 11:00 AM
Thanks. My in-laws have the burnt orange thing covered.
September 16th, 2011 at 11:45 AM
But he went there as Walt, not Heisenberg. Perhaps that ass whooping crushes Walt and brings out Heisenberg in more facets of life?
I think the Heisenberg part of Walter has been totally cowed by reality, which is why he seems so glum all the time. Whether it’s getting punked by Mike or stared down by Gus or ass-kicked by Jesse, Walter always comes up short now, and he knows it.
One line of thinking I’ve seen discussed is that he knows the cancer is back, and terminal this time, he just doesn’t give a fuck about anything now except saving Hank and his family. (I don’t think that inclues Skyler, by the way.)
September 16th, 2011 at 1:55 PM
whoever recommended perry van winkle bourbon yesterday, good call. i had a glass of 20yr last night and it was by far the best bourbon i’ve ever had.
Try yourself some Rowan’s Creek. Mmmm good. And in the name of everything good and holy, don’t put any damn soda pop in it.
