I should probably invest in new gloves before anything else. My gloves are from like 1970. My old man’s and I just never bothered to replace them.

That’s why I waited until last year to buy new stuff. I was playing with 10-15 year old equipment up until last year. It really is expensive. Especially if you’re a goalie.

And the UK is being affected not just by the PIIGS (all developed countries besides the US are nanny states with their government run healthcare by your definition), but by declining employment, terrible confidence and low youth unemployment combined with a credit contraction. The corporate tax rate is a whole different ball game, you can reduce it but why should we keep giving big oil billions of tax breaks when they’re pulling in close to $50 billion in profit each quarter (exxon, conoco phillips, shell, bp, total, chevron).
