Video and Image Of Edgar Sosa’s Broken Leg – You Might Not Want To Look
All, International Basketball September 5th. 2011, 2:10pm
Former Louisville guard Edgar Sosa did this to his leg in the Dominican Republic – Panama game today. I don’t even know what to say about this. It’s absolutely awful.

This is the video they showed us in first year anatomy. Still makes me cringe every time.

WWoS, do you have any idea what area you want to specialize in?
September 5th, 2011 at 2:29 PM
Yeah… peds then cardio. My research is in molecular genetics of heart development, so it all kinda ties together. It’s just taking way too long to get there.

i clicked the link, closed my eyes and scrolled down, just to be with you. that kickboxer break, there was a post here, with the still shot. i think it’s the same one (not going to check). i did look at the still, looked unreal, like FX. the leg had a curve to it as he was kicking the guy’s shin, it was gumby like, stretched out and like elastic

Yeah, but something that sub-specialized almost requires lab work. Are you doing MD/PhD?
September 5th, 2011 at 2:34 PM
Yeah, so I’m (hopefully) close to re-entry after the PhD if I finish up in the spring. You seem to know a lot about it, have you been through it or thinking about it?

Did research in a developmental bio lab as an undergrad and that was enough for me. Don’t have the patience for it.
Knew I wasn’t going to go into academics, so didn’t do research in med school.

Gotcha… so you are the only MD around here I guess? What is your specialty?
September 5th, 2011 at 2:44 PM
Let’s just say I could fix Edgar Sosa up real nice.

Oh. So you are a psychiatrist, cool.

Congratulations to Kyle Weiland, who is now the Red Sox #2 starter.

Some of my patients (and their family members) seem to think so.

Goodness. I used to work for MD/PhDs on a stroke rehab study. Brilliant people. Can’t ever remember where their keys or reading glasses are, but brilliant.

Damn. Reminds me of the Theismann break by LT.
