Why should we trust Ray Rice again? He was terrible last year, and they added Williams. What am I missing?

Wait, what? 1200 yards rushing, 550 yards receiving is terrible? Yes he only had 5 TD’s, but that’s because McGahee was getting those touches. And they just brought in an actual blocking FB this year.

No way in hell I would take Schaub anywhere near that high. It’s still about points over baseline. If he’s getting 6 a TD, everyone else is too. He’s not that much of an upgrade over the next 6-8 QB’s.

And this is why I posed teh question! Gracias!

So more value in going with a stud WR or RB. As a Steeler fan I’m obviously partial to Mendenhall, but I guess Rice would be good if he’s not swooped up.

My plan was to grab Schaub because of the combo and 6 point TD, but any thoughts on going another route? Top RB or WR?

No way in hell I would take Schaub anywhere near that high. It’s still about points over baseline. If he’s getting 6 a TD, everyone else is too. He’s not that much of an upgrade over the next 6-8 QB’s.

Lisk (and anyone else willing to chime in for that matter) – I have 3rd pick in a 12 team keeper league and kept Andre Johnson. Non PPR and key stat is QB TD’s are 6 instead of 4.

Top available… Vick, Schaub, Rice, Mendenhall, McCoy, CJ, Roddy White, Megatron, Fitz

I don’t think it would move him that much. I’m not sure he’s the receiving threat he once was. It would only move him around guys who are non-factors as receivers, closer to a Wells or Lynch, and more distance from Benson and Green Ellis.
